I shouldn't have played KI recently, it's just depressing how much better the matchmaking and netcode is of a 7 year old game compared to a game version that was updated and came out this year.

The West definitely has much better experience at creating online ecosystems, even ones that support more than 2 players on screen.

I think I've been substituting it with just the 214C[A] > 5B > 2C > 3C > 214CBC for the time being until something more interesting is discovered

The netcode for strive is actually being overseen by the guy who did KI's netcode so it's more than a shot of being good, it's pretty much guaranteed.

Yeah, before that last one, 6 of the names had 0 bars and one had 1. If anyone else who isn't in the lobby wants in let me know and I'll drop out.

Something like 66B > 236[B] > d.66C > j.BC > j.3B > 66B > 236[B] > rekka?

5BB > 236[B] > 66b > 66c > 214B[A] > 2C > 3C > j3[B] > 66B > 236[B] or 236A depending on how you want to end it

There's a delay between the 66C and 214B[A] I think, if you do it too early than they pop out before 2C lands
The 66B > 66C feels significantly easier to land. Guess it's a 1.03 thing

Minus but relatively safe for most of them excluding the 3rd B version.

Don't know about him, but there are way more people at my house now all competing for access to a singular tv.

There's some cool new things with j.623a/b but most changes have mainly been with the usage of j.AA > j.[C] for hard KDs and early missile with 214B enders.
The SMP changes made some of the [st] combos suboptimal or impossible to do now but overall she's been made way more flexible as a character.

It's made it easier for me to improve due to everything now being online making 16+ hour days no longer a thing

214[B]B is the silliest

Sounds like a tough situation to be in. Too bad the other ports are more borked than the PS4 version so you could use a laptop/portable mode with an ethernet adapter from the bottom port or something.

Eltnum is too hard. I love how she looks but remembering all her paths and confirms hurts my brain. I might switch to Mika or something

Just stick to 66C > 22B loops until you get all those IC moves in your brain

It could be worse as me and my roommates are all still employed, but since everyone is now working from home instead of commuting the afternoons and early evenings which used to be free for me are now busy. I work nights so I'm asleep in the morning, and trying to find people to play against at 2 to 4 in the morning is a hassle.

Mika has annoying optimal combos too. It'd be best to switch to akat if you want the simple stuff

I'm doing 22A after my freeze enders for the intentional gap to throw before the projectile comes out but I keep mistiming my backdash I think

what does lond ice debuff do?

When debuffed the next attack that applies it would instead freeze you. You can be debuffed while blocking too so it's a pretty good pressure tool.
Being frozen is a set time limit and can happen from both the ground or air too
