You could start by doing all the dailies that give stones. iirc it should be 350 per day on Steam when no birthday event is happening.
5 daily matches, 3 daily matches with S rank, 5 event matches, any 10 matches total, plus doing 10 daily missions.
Other than that, you can just concentrate on getting up to 5 million event score, that's where the last V-Stone event reward ends.
Buy a watermelon farm, user. So many materials you'll never worry about them ever again.

You don't get any event score for doing that though. Melons will get you both the materials + event score since you'd be farming SS+ 1st. XL unlocks you only need 4 per SSR so it's not like you need hundreds of them.
