Nintendo first party titles including BotW, DKC and Kirby going on sale next week. Probably the usual 33%.

Thinking about getting Mario rabbids but not sure how good it is, it has really good reviews but I’m worried it’ll just sit on my switch and I’ll never finish it like I did okami

Should I get Diablo 3 on Switch if I haven't played it on PC?

I never played the Spyro games when they were new, they came out when I was in those teenage years where anything remotely kiddy was not appealing in the slightest. Do they still hold up well for new players?

Just bought the SEGA genesis collection. I already have it on xbone but I’m hoping people will actually play it online on switch.

I hope ARMS goes on sale next week

Just pirate everything. Fucking dopes.

It looks like this sale is mostly in the USA as well.

Is Golf Story worth it? Looks pretty interesting.

This won't make sense. It's a shit game that shits on the series but I've sank plenty of hours into it and have absolutely gotten my money's worth. Addictive and great for couch coop.

Captain toad dlc sale when

Was the eshop always filled with shovel ware?

Name an online game store that isn't

I was hoping alien isolation and astral chains would go on sale

Answer the question I asked

>highlights
that’s pretty much the whole sale right there bud lol

>alien isolation

is on sale for 20

from day one dude

>Fight'N Rage, Blazing Chrome and Katana ZERO are on sale
are they worth it?

Steam.

Yes
Never played
Yes

ARMS is already on sale in some region, look on one of the aggregator does.

Golf Story is fucking amazing, the only downside is that there's no postgame. For an RPG that's kind of a shame.

US sale fucking WHEN

I think it can be summed up as a good game, just not a good diablo game.

It doesn't have any more shovelware than usual, however its navigation tools are so horrifically bad that it looks like shovelware city

Yes to all three.
F'n'R has absolute shit tons of content, I was surprised a bunch of spics had so much work ethic in them.
Blazing Chrome is the opposite, still a good game but there's not a lot to it.
KZ is super short, but a fucking great ride and worth every second.

Yeah, pretty much. For good or ill, it's why I look forward to Indieworld videos. It shows indie games that aren't shovelware.

>Spyro trilogy 17.50
worth it boys?

After years I finally ended up getting Tangledeep.
Turns out they finally added the first expansion of the game, and for free at that. And the game is currently on a record sale right now, according to that eshop tracking website anyway.
I might just end up buying the new expansion too after a couple more runs unless I was to somehow grow less impressed with it.

That said. I kind of miss not controlling it with a keyboard.
But on the other hand having it handheld is really cool, and beyond that the controls on the Switch are actually way better than I expected them to be. It's actually really smooth to control.
That said the lack of key rebinds kind of genuinely suck, though the only thing I would like to change personally would be to swap the ZL and ZR functions with one another. But I can live with it as it is.

If you like roguelikes, give it a look.
If you don't like roguelikes, stay the fuck away from it.

Tried this and the controls were just awful. I like roguelikes but this game was just hell to play.

>Dragonball Fighter Z £12.49
Woo nelly

Just praying BoTW / DK Tropical Freeze are higher than 33%
Bought my switch last year w/ mario odyssey and mario+rabbids and havent bought anything else because all this shit is so expensive

I like the dedicated diagonal button. How you have one stick that you can use to simply check things without having to be worried about actually doing anything. And the hold button for turning around etc.
I like it. I've played roguelikes on consoles that had none of the above and it's just a thoroughly painful experience. That said, as I said before, it does pain me to an extent that I can't swap ZL and ZR.

>doesn't include the $20 Season 1 pass or the $30 season 2 pass or the $20 season 3 pass

They aren't and never will be.

It will literally never happen for first party nintendo titles. It's always 25-33% off and nothing more.

Their first party games from THREE GENERATIONS AGO are still the same price they were when they launched.

Personal recommendations:
Alien Isolation
Iron Crypticle (highly polished mix between Smash TV and Bubble Bobble type scoring)
Thumper
Golf Story
Steamworld Heist
Fight'n'Rage
Super Mutant Alien Assault

I like arcade stuff and one or two of these are lesser known, but very good.

Finally got the mario rabbids dlc.
Tempted by bastion byt have it on pc
Tempted on rayman legenda but have it on pc already.
However I wont have access to my pc for another month.

Is pic attached any good?
The devs keep shilling everywhere on social media, but then again it looks to be technically superb on switch and I could use a good multiplayer fps.

It's such horseshit. I'd be happy to buy Tropical Freeze or New Super Mario Bros if they were £20. Nintendo thinks these are worth the full price of £50.

Just pirated all these from hbgshop and saved myself £953.38

Thanks bro.

>Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout £34.99
That has to be a mistake. They're even more jewish than Nintendo.

>mario rabbids

is it good

I find that most Jap developers have a downright insane idea of their products' value.

It's fun, it's an xcom that's more about positioning. Also the hit chances are only 100, 50 and 0 % chance which are easy to change. You can do a lot of fun movement comboes with each character. Only downside in story mode I'd you cant really customize your team much. You have to use mario and have to have atleast 1 rabid in your team of 3.

It's a fun romp that wont win awards.

Is xenosaga good on it's own or do I need dlc to enjoy properly?

>giving money to activision
Buy used or not at all.

I got the Switch for AC. Feeling some buyers remorse but I can take solace I can resell the AC NH Switch on Ebay for over £400 easy opened without the game code at this time still.

It's when i see some of these prices and "sales" that i'm happy i hacked mine

thoughts?

Girlfriend got Don't Starve, but I couldn't see anything I want that much. Maybe Katamari, but I'd prefer a physical copy.

I'm interested in labyrinth of refrain and/or shining resonance simply because they got anime covers. I'm braindamaged, i know, but how are they? one is an DRPG the other a regular rpg from what I can tell. the DRPG looks fun but it's from NIS so I assume it got bloated numbers on everything. also they tend to overcomplicate simple game formulas, how is their take on DRPGs?

How is Ryza on switch (and is 35 still too expensive)? Tempted to go for it.

Labyrinth of Refain is cool. It has a pretty lengthy demo, so you can play that tonight then if you like it grab the full game tomorrow. It's better than a lot of other anime dungeon crawlers.

OK but is the game good?

When are they going to put DMC 3 SE on sale? I want to buy it but not at full price again.

Competent rhythm game with excellent visual presentation that cuts out all the annoying online shit from the mobile version while still giving you the entire package. Rayark's rhythm game ports to the Switch have been consistently good.
