i hope for something like this too.
i dont want a comunity, or deep story. i want a game where i can play the game for anything between 2 to 40 hours a week and get character progression in this timeframe. and with the progression i can unlock more options.

This meme always gets spouted in global but it's so senseless. China's Path of Exile client is extremely lucrative to GGG/Tencent, the money they'd be bringing in from running rmt in the west wouldn't even remotely compare to that. Especially when they would have the third world to compete with and randoms who sell their currency themselves. It's much more likely that the developers do not understand how to balance their own game anymore.

That's honestly probably the best description of what might have gone wrong in PoE from prerelease to now.
It went from being about what you could do with what you found to being about how fast you could gib the endgame bosses before they could do anything back and how fast you can breeze through maps.
