What are some open world games with tons of shit to unlock / collect ?

What are some open world games with tons of shit to unlock / collect ?
It doesn't matter if the game is trash, I'm just looking for things to pass time while in quarantine
Games I've played
>Just Cause 2 (cool)
>Sant Rows 3 and 4 (cool)
>WatchDogs 2 (nice but really boring)

bump

any mmo

Любoe MMORPG, GTA, Minecraft, Zelda, Mafia, Spider Man

Legend of the River King has a ton of shit to collect

Saints row IV

Putain même ici on doit se taper la gueule de cet enculé

the long dark

it's a survival game, but it gives me that looting fix by going through the world looting and breaking shit apart. very replayable too.

the GBC game?

Yakuza series seems to be the answer.

Assassin's Creed: Odyssey

>What are some open world games with tons of shit to unlock / collect

People on here actually enjoy this shit? What happened to people wanting carefully crafted levels?

>haha I stand on tower and it goes *bwooom* and reveals map

Probably this, I played it quite a bit yesterday and didn't progress the plot at all.

botw
fallout 3/4
skyrim special edition
red dead redemption
gta online

for me it's just that it's no-brainer shit to pass the time
I don't really want to get invested in shit so much, I'm ok with playing casually for a few hours per week and have a dopamine spike when
> tower goes *woosh*
maybe I'm a pleb

Sleeping Dogs
everything else seems to have been mentioned

Masks are good to stop you from being a spreader.

They're terrible at protecting you from getting infected.

The moisture accumulated inside the mask is a perfect breathing ground for viruses.

Play crackdown 2 and collect all agility orbs

INFRA, it is not completely open world, but there are so many secret things in this game, it is pure unfiltered autism.

I recently finished playing Dying light an that has stuff to collect such as small tropies scattered throughout the maps, flags at really high places and notes/voicemails. If you also like watching numbers go up it accomodates that sort of thing as well.

I off pull off that mask will you die?

Try Mad Max
It has some much collectable shit you'll go insane

ce serait extrêmement douloureux

Pour vous

For a grandma loving frog he sure likes getting squeezed between black guys.

I get that you’re an anglo but can you stop sexualizing black men so much?

Any zelda game. Wind waker if you want a traditional zelda game. Botw if you want full freedom

No

Kino Stranding

Destiny 2 and warframe are pretty good timesinks

KC:D is the best open world game in years. the world is just built with a lot of care and it actually has a sense of exploration.

>INFRA
I bought this game on a Yas Forums recommendation and i thought it was lame

you can collect many things - even niggers - in conan exiles.

reminder that macron created the virus to make the yellow vest protests illegal

Macron is so based he probably created the virus just to laugh at the plebs

Most fun open World games are Hulk Ultimate Destruction and Prototype. The latter has a sequel that's worse in most metrics but passable if you really need to play something.

Saints Row 4 basically stole Prototype's movement but cut some of the coolest moves.

breeding ground

The point is to make everyone wear a mask, so that no one is a spreader.

I've seen some people wear filter masks, but you still need to wear this thing on top. Because those work in the opposite way, filtering the air you breathe in but letting your disease out.

If you are afraid of getting infected stay inside. You’re not forcing people around you to change their behaviour just so you can be safe.

Mad Max

Saints Row had that standalone expansion wwith a hell theme. More of the same, pretty good.

Every Assasins game. Definitely Prototype Museum mod for Skyrim. It has slots to display every piece of unique loot in the game. And some quests to help you find them.

Also loads of jRPGs. Berseria, Xenoblade 2, Zelda

Just Cause 3

No I'm not, I have my government to do it for me.

Staying inside for months is unrealistic, at the very least you need to buy food every week or two, and some supplies or medicine.

anything from ubisoft

You and your daddy totalitarian government can fuck off back to Afghanistan where you belong.

If you liked just cause 2 you'll probably like just cause 3, just avoid 4 cause it's the hottest garbage imaginable
Divinity Original Sin 2 isn't exactly "open world" but it has a lot of shit to do plus it has sexy lizard ladies
Bethesda games are a given, they're pretty much all saturated with content of varying quality
Elite Dangerous isn't terrible if you're trying to pass a bunch of time

Assassin's Creed Odyssey and Assassin's Creed Origins both are full of collectibles, loot and repetitive tasks to kill your time, which is why I loved it. Decent story too if you're not hardcore AC lorefag.

Red Faction: Guerilla

I'm sure the open world is great but I just couldn't stand having my hand held for the first 15 hours.

Being afraid of germs for the rest of your life is unrealistic

There’s barely any hand holding though. That’s the reason why so many people cried about the quests being too hard or bugged because they didn’t have quest markers telling them where to go or what to do. You just have to get out of the first castle where you get taught how to fight.

Why not do something creative or artistic instead of something to "just pass time"

yea

Says person stuck on Yas Forums

you have no freedom and no way to just go off and figure shit out on your own. You're forced through endless tutorials (contextualised) for what seems like forever.

This is totally incorrect and you must not have played the game for too long or have an attention span of a baby.

Sure. It's a temporary measure though, everyone is going to get infected sooner or later. Thing is mortality goes down with proper medical care, and hospitals are already overloaded. The masks and social distancing are just to buy them more time.

Wearing the thing seems like a minor inconvenience if it can save a person's life. I am getting more of a "every man for himself" vibe from americans online, I wonder if that's a cultural thing or maybe just a few weirdos.

You assume I’m American and you also make the mistake of thinking what you are suggesting is truly everyone’s best interests and the well being of the community. Perhaps you should explore other ways of thinking and seeing if maybe you’re being a little too naive about things.

aucun échappatoire l'ami

Mad Max. Hope you're ready to spend about 60 hours salvaging scrap to upgrade everything in all the outposts

Also Rage 2, it's basically the same game but with Doom FPS combat

>It doesn't matter if the game is trash,
BOTW

different strokes, I guess. Personally I prefer carefully crafted levels... maybe something like Dark Souls 1, which was a pretty well crafted world (also wasn't massive compared to actual open-world games).

Open world games are cool, but I pretty much never finish them. I get lost in all the cool things you can do, then get bored, then stop playing without ever advancing the story much.
