Just went into Raging Brachy with 24 fire res and still got blastblight until going back and switching out to my blast res loadout, so no.

Thought if I remember right, Fireproof mantle does prevent blastblight while it's on. I remember using it for AT Teo a few times for that at least.

Even by breaking its legs, Barioth still gets up faster than other Flying Wyverns. Without shield I'd say its tail is a bit more dangerous since the reach of the tip is pretty far.
