Is this the official P5 thread? Good lets talk about it. I started Royal today, and I remembered part of the reason I don't like the story.
Our MC sees a woman getting roughed up and asking for help, and he goes to try and help. Blah blah blah hurts the guy accident blah blah I'll sue blah you now have a record.
In the context of the story, that's fine.
The problem is, nobody gives a shit about the circumstances you got the record and immediately treats you like you murderd someone.
They completely overlook you tried to save a woman. A woman who asked for help mind you. Senjiro strait up says what you did in the beginning and instead of complimenting you on taking action, chastises you for getting involved. That shit drives me nuts. Is this a Japanese thing? It's like this for the whole damn game!

The game isn't bad. It's painfully mediocre and bloated well past the point where the story or mechanics are engaging. Dangling a waifu in front of me doesn't make me eager to play it again.

I’m at the second palace and want to like it, but for every hour of gameplay there is ten hours of needless talking. The game makes me stop so it can tell new characters what it already told me.

The level design gets worse in padding as the game progresses. The splice of life dialogue is much needed. You would notice how bad the game is if it wasn't there
