What will the next Kirby game be like? Hopefully, not Star Allies 2. Not that SA was bad or anything, just thought it was a bit of a disappointment compared to some of the earlier releases.

I personally believe Star Allies is one of the better Kirby games when fully updated. But that won't excuse another retread, so I hope they try something new.
I would like to see most of the Dream Friends stick around, even if that means they get minor cameos.

same, if there's anything i can say needs to be improved, it's that. there's so many character traits that we've gotten that are only said in the twitter/pause screens/star allies channel stuff. maybe have kirby and his friends interact via text boxes similar to battle royale (maybe have some small talk during gameplay or something while cutscenes can be a bit similar to what they have been doing, just with kirby/his friends talking as well).

I'm hoping for a unique take on the "sidescrolling" genre. i would not be surprised if the creativity at HAL figure something out.
Otherwise, a unique take on 3D gameplay. Tho i expect it'd just be a polished kirby battle royale type game.

I personally like it, but it's admittedly weak compared to other entrees. I think it's a combination of it just being a glorified anniversary celebration game (and decidedly marketed not as such for some reason)
and it's co-op design.
There used to be a big and ambitious Kirby game developed in 2004-2005 that got canceled over technical issues and supposedly being boring. maybe it's AI co-op design is just inherently terrible
