I did not get too hyped for it, my expectations were I think reasonable, and so far I'm pretty damn happy with it. Sure, it is clearly very light on systems, and a lot of the systems are out of whack (workshops, for an instance).
But other than that, it's Warband as I remeber without the insufferable parts (sieges were, so far, actually a ton of fun for starters). Plus it looks nice, and can be even immersive at moments.

I just wish the nobles would stop being cunts and give me a half-decent fief already.

These roaches are on crack if they expect the people who didn't fall for the meme to spend the price of a AAA game on this in early access

Why do people not understand that when classics waited this long to release it its because they have entirely run out of ideas. Marketting on "member x" is a sure fire sign that the game is a piece of shit.

You're free to try and refute this objectively if you disagree but I feel confident you will be unable to.

There is currently an issue that causes framerate dips at certain stages of the siege, presumably due to path-finding problem. It does not really matter what settings you have, the problem in on the game's side, most likely a bug.
For me, the framerate drops to single digits always between the moment the soldiers get to the walls, and to the moment they break through. Since that is also the stage of battle where you don't have much to do, unless you want to risk your neck on the fucking ladder, I just wait it out. The moment the gate is taken / broken, the frame-rate springs up again for me.

Modding tools aren't out yet, and probably won't be for a while.
What do you mean by "fixing" the combat? Core combat is completely fine. Sieges suffer from frame-rate issues that seem to be unrelated to performance elsewhere. Pre-patch the A.I. during sieges tended to also fuck up, often causing the siege to be unwinnable, but I have not seen that since the hotfixes.

Haven't purposely not played Warband in anticipation for this I'm pretty satisfied as well.

The workshops now store all of the money made into their own value, rather than sending it to player. You can still sell them for 250k or more each, basically making enough money to ever worry about money again.

I wasnt waiting, it is NEVER worth it when you do. If you were holding your breath for this only you are to blame for that. The same kind of people who fall head over heels for Death Stranding and No Mans Sky, they hype themselves too much that when the game is just fine it is no fine to them, it didnt take them to rapture, therefore it was shit. Just form an opinion when its actually out dont make some expectation in you mind of what it would be.

That said it feels unfinished, but it is in early access and has a discount so I find it hard to complain. Its just Warband but more, which is fine, what Im actually anticipating is mods, which is where Warband truely shined, native always felt like a limited experience compared to the mod scenes changes.

I'd wait. M'B is a game where it's pretty easy to burn out quickly at the best of times, and as good as the core seems to be, a lot of stuff in bannerlord is really wonky right now. Unless you are a fan of the series or a unusually patient person, I would say it may be wise to wait some more.
