Does anyone just love the Gamecube and wish it did better, so Nintendo didn't change course and go super casual with the Wii and beyond?
The GC design, font and logo, and controller are great. The games range from usual Nintendo cheerfulness with some somberness and mystery. Mario Sunshine, Smash Bros Melee, and Wind Waker are the perfect examples of this. Even Mario Party 4 and 5 have a bit of a creepy feel around the edge of the maps. Like what Rare did to the N64, Sega backed up the Gamecube a lot with great games like PSO, Super Monkey Ball, and the best versions of Sonic games. Gamecube will always be the iconic and ideal early 2000s console. Seeing that badass logo with a rack of games at Walmart, Toys R Us, or Gamestop will always be memorable to me. What were some of your favorite games on the ol Cube?
Sunshine and Melee for sure. I had a lot of ps2 games, and those two really stuck out to me as some of the greatest games I have played. Spongebob: BFBB on the ps2 is the only ps2 game I really liked.

Nope. Gamecube was a piece of shit with very low quality first party games that were unpolished, buggy, incomplete and overall shit.
I bought it day 1 and it didn't take long to realise how low quality the games were.

gamecube was not that great but your a zoomer with nostalgia that grew up with it instead of the superior snes

Zoomers didn't grow up on the GameCube though. They grew up on the Wii and other seventh gen consoles. GameCube was millennial.
