And it's a crossover with... MEDABOTS?! Meet Omedamon.
>An unidentified holy mechanic Digimon who got lost in another dimension of the digital world. It was born from data of a certain game that became popular in another dimension at the end of the 20th century.Have the courage to confront any difficulties. >The super-metal "Cyprasium Digizoid" with a self-healing function using nanomachines can completely recover the damage received in the battle by the next battle. The back is equipped with a beam-shaped cloak reminiscent of an old cloth. >Its Special Moves are the weapon "Beatle Cannon" with its left arm that shoots enemies with a volley and the scissor sword with its right arm that splits any enemy.
looks nice, too bad the uguu~ kawaii eyes ruins it a little.
Evan Thompson
this would be a perfect 10/10 without those eyes
Xavier Hall
i know it's probably an april fool's thing, but they should actually turn this into a whole series of crossovermons. get pokemon, smt, dragon quest, etc. involved too.
Owen Lewis
Sure is a shame it's just an April Fools Joke.
Adam Miller
It doesn't have Uguu~ Kawaii eyes. It has the Beady eyes the medabots have.
Josiah Richardson
At least it's a new digimon though. If the reception is good this could open up a whole new series of digimon made up of data from forgotten franchises!
Xavier Gutierrez
>Forgotten Medabots has a mobile game in Japan that came out fairly recently.
Connor Sanchez
this is why digimon is so great. it's the only franchise that could pull an idea like this off and make it feel completely natural.
Noah Walker
rokusho has just big green light as eyes and metabee is the same but red, dunno if new medabots have those eyes.
Oh boy are the "haha here's this awesome thing APRIL FOOLS FUCK YOU" starting?
Leo Hughes
>Digimon x Medabots How is the Medabots IP even still alive?
Kevin Price
It's been going on for the whole day, but I haven't seen much. Here's Tales of Versus 2 for ios and android, to be released in December of 1995. youtube.com/watch?v=7Sa13EPAGdc
No idea how it has survived in the last years, but it recently got a gacha game, Medarot S Unlimited Nova.
Finally watched this show last year (did see a few episodes as a kid but I was too busy obsessing about Digimon to give it my undivided attention back then) and while it ain't perfect I enjoyed it a lot.
bandai better not let this opportunity go to waste pof making a merch of it because i will plan to buy it
Logan Perez
>april fool jokes announcements and ideas are always better than actual announcements and ideas There is a point when this stops being a joke and just a torture for everyone involved
Joshua Cruz
Yeah, that's what I love the whole concept of a Digimon, and there should be more crossovers with the franchise, as well. A shame Bandai usually doesn't give a fuck about it, and when it does, it makes crossovers with the most unrelated franchises, like Miku or fucking Tekken.
Mason Garcia
I dunno miku sounds pretty fitting for a digimon crossover all things considered
my theory is that a lot of people realize its their only chance to really just do whatever the fuck they want so they just do whatever the fuck they want and secretly hope enough people yell at them to make it real that they can convince the higher ups to actually do it.
Aaron Miller
And they don't really follow through with it. Miku is a computer vocal program, and they just dress her and friends in Digimon clothes.
Christian Diaz
man I miss it when digimon was just pokemon ripoff now its all knights and humanoids
Oliver Gomez
royal knights are unironically the worst thing that happened to digimon
dude even in Adventure they were more than just "pokemon ripoffs" digimon and pokemon have always had fundamentally different design philosophies with their creatures do agree that pretty much every relevant ultimate (and even a lot of the perfect's) being humanoids/knights/waifubait blows chunks though
