Remove the slow from sandman balls.
Sandman can reflect projectiles by timing hits correctly, and has FaN esque knock back on normal swings.
Airshotting people with the ball always crits and craters them.

I like how OP the gunboats were that they had to buff every other secondary the soldier had to make them viable.

How to fix TF2, step 1:
BUFF THE SPY
>Sneaking buffs:
Spy can fake reload always.
Spy can toggle disguise or real speed.
Spawn wallhacks don't work on Spies unless they've already been seen or are visible, and never reveal a Spy to the player he's disguised as. (So NOT having an outline doesn't give a Spy away too easily)
Disguise animation bugs fixed.
First and third-person animations for disguising and for cloaking/uncloaking are synced.
No on-hit effects (Building rage by hitting cloaked Spy, for example) work on disguised or cloaked Spies unless they kill them.
Cloaked Spies can fully use enemy buildings regardless of disguise.
>Spying buffs:
Spy can see loadouts like he can see health and Uber meters. This includes weapons, ammo loaded, ammo stored, rechargeable meters, Rage meters, enemy heads, etc.
On disguise kit, Spy can see enemy team make-up, dead and alive, as two numbers above each class icon.
When holding disguise kit, Spy can see the outline of anyone he's disguised as.
None of the above three work on enemy Spies.
>Pure gameplay buffs:
Spy gets 20% damage resistance when disguised, the same thing he gets when cloaked.
Revolvers have quicker accuracy cool down. (1.25 sec to .87 sec)
Sappers can be slid a short distance (Shift+M1) and can attach to buildings. Now takes 1 second to recharge on placement and 4 seconds on slide. Can be broken while on the ground, will attach to buildings placed near them, and when a fourth is slid, the oldest will break, like a sticky. Those attached to buildings are not counted. Enemies walking over them will have chargeable meters quickly drained, including Uber, cloak, rage, etc.
I'd be willing to defend all of these ideas, except that I'm about to sleep. The first section just makes tricking enemies into thinking you're one of them, for at least long enough to get around, much easier, and shouldn't be controversial.
The second part is to make it easier to know how to go about your business. Now it's easier to decide which enemies to go after. You see two Soldiers, and don't know which to pick. You mouse over each and see one has full Rage. The choice is made for you. Or you see a Pyro, and want to run, but then see he's out of primary ammo, and easy pickings.
Or you use your disguise kit to see the enemy has no Snipers, but four Engies, so now you know which disguise to take. Also, you can keep it out to check around and make sure you're not in the same area as the guy you're disguised as, who is the least-likely to be fooled by you.
Lastly, a few solid buffs that everyone would feel would be nice. A bit more defense against Spy-checking and a bit better aim with the revolver would both be nice.
The last thing can be split in two, the sliding part, which I actually think a lot of people would agree with, and the meter-draining thing, which would mostly be useless, but flavorful. Just a little easter-egg type thing.
