play only on monsoon. eventually youll realize the game is easy as fuck and monsoon should be the lowest difficulty level.

You give up the shield for them but they definitely help kill higher health enemies. they're also fun

They are not automatic like RoR1, you have the manually aim them to lock on an enemy.
You can put all 4 on 1 target or 1 on each enemy.
Afterburners give you 6, a +2 per stack.
Fun and can proc items, also bubble is gone so you can't be in one spot often as you think.

They're ok.
The projectile speed and lock-on time are slower than I'd like, and the UI is kinda fiddly, but they're okay.
I'd still rather have the shield most of the time, if they moved faster I'd be more comfortable taking them.
