yeah fucking no, the tanks in GuP is the absolute anti-thesis to real tanks.
drifting around like its a cardboard box skating around on ice is the complete opposite to the absolute compact total coolness that a real tank is.
GuP is probably a good anime but I just want one where they are depicted in all their awesomeness.
Same with games, the only good tank games are all aged as all fuck. I just need a good tank simulator in VR please

GuP treats the vast majority of tanks as relatively fast moving gigarifles rather than clunky artillery machines because the setting is literally just PG Twisted Metal with historic models all souped up but shooting what are essentially blanks

My absolute dream game would be a fully fledged realistic VR tank simulator with full player crews and some good fucking sound design.

Good when used as basically fast assault guns, the actual tank destroyer branch was redundant and unnecessary though. Growings pains in a maturing area of tactics are inevitable though.

The game cabinet is a life size model tank with positions in the driver seat, loader position, gunner position and commander position. Driver position has a screen in the eye slot in front and tank driving stick/clutches or whatever. There's a separate screen for the gunner so the barrel can move and shoot independently, Loader shares a screen with gunner plays a minigame similar to dream tank match were they push a physical tank shell button into the barrel at the right time for more damage/point. Can maybe also choose different ammo types. Finally the commander spot is covered with a hemisphere screen kind of like those starwars games with 360 degree view and direct AI tanks. The whole thing is equipped with shocks and fans to emulate inclines, wind, recoil etc for added realism.
