No that's for if someone gives a villager an offensive shirt, Isabelle will reset it to the default. It has no effect of removing people. Trying to figure it out now, I've been mailing trash and assaulting with the net to no avail.

This and don't talk to the villager for a few days.

Turn their house Into an island where they can’t leave or interact with other villagers.

Buy amiibo cards of your favorite villagers, if your town is full, the game will let you decide who you want to kick out and replace with your amiibo character, after completing their requests at the campsite and shit.

Ignore villagers for 3 whole days. They'll have a cloud over their head and tell you they wanna leave.

Just keep hitting them with your net until they get pissed off everyday

You just don't talk to them for a week. Completely ignore them. After the week's over you should see them with a cloud/spiral (can't remember which) and they'll ask you if they should move out. It might take more or less time. It depends.

Can they leave if you go on an extended break?

Villagers can't leave anymore without your permission.

I had this ugly ant eater villager as one of the first 3 who moved to my island.
I never initiated dialogue with that villager a single FUCKING time, I am at villager cap now, and yet they still won't leave.

it's propably just a load of bullshit, those villagers leave when they feel like it, not when you ignore them for a certain amount of days, since i never even went as far as introducing myself to that villager. i plainly ignored them from the second they arrived on my island.

If your town is full you can use the campsite to replace them. Just don't let visitors invite these villagers. They'll glitch their plots.

Those talk to 3 ones are almost unavoidable; got a sweet 5k one today, easy 1000 miles right there.

I bought all my amiibo favorites a month before they became expensive so I'll just replace my whole island's villagers with them.

the real redpill is that it doesnt matter which villager you have because their personality is all the same: nice and inoffensive. The only reason to switch out is if you dont like the design and shouldn't feel bad

You need to wait for all 3 of them to move in first and then make a campsite for another to move in from inviting him. After you sell plots of lands and you can go daily to a Nook island to invite another villager

Yeah you have to make it and wait a day after it's made for someone to move in. Nook will force you to invite that one sadly then he will offer you the option to set up plots of land for the last remaining villagers. Some times a random one will just take it if you don't bother getting a villager from an island or from the campsite.

The exact opposite problem but for my mystery islands. Was forced to take 2 female villagers cause of how much time I kept grinding for miles and always getting an island with a female on it.
