It's all so boring. All melee is just 1,2,3,4,5,6 and repeat a thousand times.
Tanking is just 1,2,3 + cooldowns on predetermined moments
Healing is just butthole.
There is no off-spec and there is only 1 way to do things. It's as shallow a game as it can be.

Remove healing and tanking alltogether and make them into dps so that encounters are all based on the individual player avoiding the shit they need to avoid

They wouldn't, but it would give your character more identity to have a class rather than a one-dimensional job. It would thus take longer to get bored with the mind-numbing rotations.

Alternately, devs would realize that having the same shitty rotations for every spec is boring as hell and change things up.

Melee DPS is the hardest. It requires that you maximize damage the entire fight, even through mechanics, or everyone will wipe at the end.

Its stressful when dps fuck up and take time my time away from dpsing. Also, they need to add a dps rotation to healers. 3-5 skill rotation.

If you think getting purples on any mmo as a dps is "scary" you should prob stop thinking about parsing in general and just focus on having fun

Eh, if tanks wants to go for high parses for themselves and the healers, there's theoretically a really big room for improvement in how you use your resources (like, when should WAR use thrill of battle for optimal healing and mitigation to reduce healer stress, leading to higher healer dps output?).

That's the least stressful part about it. It's stressful when you're new to content and don't know when to save big heals and swiftcast. It's stressful if you fuck up because you start to see everything fall apart and even if it's not your fault no one will want to blame themselves and you're an easy target.

yeah, the game fucking sucks. All DPS feels the same and is just a matter of who has the cooler looking moves. Class customization is non-exist, meaning every class has the same boring rotation. the first 50 levels are so fucking tedious and involve endless monotonous quests. the "famous" plot is just a generic jrpg story, and to top it all off it's a fucking wow clone with fashion end game. As a successor to FFXI it fails in every way.

There's always a best meta, but options are good in XIV because in both endgame SB and ShB, all the classes are viable and the meta only matters for speedkill parties since player skill tends to matter a lot more than what the class does.
