I don't think he plays games that don't interest him, he even admits he plays part of a game and leaves it at that. This is why I laugh at the notion of spirits being a good thing, Sakurai can 'play' a game and then put a still image over a rainbow border and claim he's celebrating gaming. It's disingenuous.
