No, that's not what happened.

It very clearly is.

>webm

My eyes!

He didn't turn around, that was the point.

Post the DS2 mimic one, I don't have it saved.

So is DSP legit retarded or is it an act? I feel like whenever I've watched he's playing into it

his IQ is well above 150

Attached: Specialist2.webm (800x450, 2.84M)

most of the games he plays he plays them just to beat them because it's his job and I can tell you from personal experience when it comes to the point where I just want to get a game over with I stop trying new things and just try to bruteforce it

first time he played Dark Souls he said if he wasn't getting paid to do it he wouldn't be playing Dark Souls

I don't think i've ever been drunk and horny enough for this.

Attached: Specialists9.webm (1280x720, 2.9M)

He turns around for a frame, enemy attacks and triggers the backstab.

It looks funny but it all checks out, whether he's turned around for a frame or a full second

Attached: frame.png (362x523, 340.9K)

why would he put his back to the wall before attacking it

Attached: Specialists6.webm (1024x576, 2.85M)

is this the matrix?

what the fuck?

You literally can't turn that fast on your own, the game just turned him around because it detected his position wrong. This happens often in DaS.

how do these things only happen to Dave?

It seems like some kind of reflex people have. Woolie from SBFP did it a lot during Dark Souls 2, too.

it's afraaaid.

YES
BUSINESS RELATED
AND I STILL OWN IT

No, this whole bankruptcy thing has exposed him as a complete retard

unlikely, he got bankrupt playing Gacha.

You should actually play the game before shitposting about it.

You can. Just boot up Dark Souls, swing your weapon and begin holding the opposite direction you're facing and you'll turn around instantly like DSP did. It's very funny looking, but that's how it works.

he's $500k in debt

there is no 4d chess with phil. he is a complete moron

Lmao. Reminder that DSP being so entertaining to watch get pissed at stupid shit is the reason Yas Forums started fucking with him in the first place.

Yeah but Woolie doesn't know his fucking left from his right, I expect that from him, what's the reason for purposely giving yourself less room to maneuver?

What you describe as "funny looking" is just completely horrible coding on FROM's part. Deal with it.

that's literally what happened
this is something that DaS does right, you can turn around nearly instantly, that's why the controls feel so much more responsive compared to a a clunky game like Lords of the Fallen where turning around is slow and laggy

Like I said, I think it's just some reflex that mediocre players have.

To avoid getting grabbed by the thing he got grabbed by anyway because DS2 hitboxes

lmao git gud scrub

he did turn around
that's literally the point
he's not locked on and he tried to move back so he turned around and got backstabbed

Mimics in every game have that problem.

I don't understand your response. What makes it horrible coding? He's turning around at the end of his attack animation because he's holding back.

>you can't do that!
>>actually, you can
>i-it's bad coding, shut up!
You did a pretty good job of moving those goalposts, user.

>What you describe as "funny looking" is just completely horrible coding on FROM's part. Deal with it.
you are fucking retarded
this is how every souls games work but even Nioh, it is made so your controls are responsive. You don't want slow, laggy "realistic" turning speed like in RDR2 in souls-like action combat, that's how you get clunky trash games like Lords of the Fallen

how is he shitposting, he literally posted proof of (You) being the shitposter you moron

Dark Souls webms and CSGO webms always make me laugh.

fags and zoomers like to call stuff like Gothic eurojank and at the same time tolerate shit like this from a major title.

in both cases it's them being dumbasses and forgetting they're not locked on, and that they'll walk backwards with their shield raised in the classic scrub way to play these games, rather than flip around on a dime when they're trying to get away

the worst part about souls games is that despite the overhyped difficulty, you can easily play at like a 6/10 level, never learning from your mistakes, and brute force your way through everything
this is how retards like phil or woolie can beat them, play them for 100 hours or whatever, and yet still be making day 1 mistakes in the fucking Nashandra fight

this. The hitbox are terrible and people defend it

he did get parried, so the effect is the same, but it's weird that he turned around

god i fucking hate ds2

Shockwaves.

Yeah, and it sucks.
I had to fall for it myself once before learning to be weary of that bullshit.

A mode for original half life called 'the specialist' yes it took heavy inspiration from matrix. I was pretty bad at it, (i remember getting one shot alot by the 1 hit kill hand musket) but i still played the shit out of it regardless. Great game. There was also RP servers, though i never tried them. In addition to diving, rolling and the other stuff in the webm; there was also wall running.

Adobe Shockwave? Is that the engine From uses?

Because when you wake up mimics in DS2 they lunge forward and standing behind them would be a good idea if the hitboxes weren't such shit.

there were more button inputs in 2 seconds of this webm than a whole round in newer mk games

>0:37

Attached: source.gif (320x180, 1.53M)

serves him right for constantly trying to use a projectile but if you think fighting games are just about how many button inputs you press then you're wrong

>ITT: Butthurt retards can't admit they're wrong.
Stop embarrasing yourselves, seriously. He fucked himself up, it's a fact and everyone who's actually played DaS knows as much. Re-locked after backstab, and then moved back so front was facing forward. Instead he turned and got schooled.

You can cry as much as you like but we all know you're just lying. It's fucking right there in the video , clear as day.

because (You) aren't posting hitboxes, you are posting patched out hit detection bugs that hardly ever happened to anyone even back then

not saying there aren't 1 or 2 enemies in every game that have strangely big hitboxes, but overall DaS hitboxes are pretty solid as far as action game hitboxes go

I'm not about to defend this fat retard, but, why did the lock-on disengage?
