570/580
even cheaper if it's used like ur mum
2080 super
certainly not anything you can buy right now
2060 is a real deal
just wait for the new consoles retard
this, it's not like last generation where a $150 would btfo both consoles
HOW FUCKIN STUPID CAN YOU ALL BE?
I would certainly agree in waiting till the end of the year. But this depends on the budget
2060 Super, not even a question
From nvidia I'd reccomend gtx1660ti or rtx2060. 1660ti cost me 320euros. In my country 2060 is around 100 eurobucks more expensive so I got an 1660ti. It's p. good. I can play Bannerlord on 1440p with 60fps ez.
Graphics cards already had inflated as fuck prices, imagine now and after the kung flu virus
gtx 960 4gb msi
2070 super
>buy 700 dollar card
>play decade old games
this is you
but now you can play them at 4k with 144 fps
ignore retards recommending xx60 cards
i don't know what point you're trying to make
1070ti is good, unless you want raytracing, but hopefully they figure out a better optimisation for that shit with all the new consoles using it
the 1080ti is still fucking great.
1080ti isn’t really cheap though, even now
>be me
>buy 9900kf clocked @ 5.2Ghz and 2080 super factory overclock
>only play csgo @ 1024x768 all low graphics settings
such is life
It's pretty cheap for what you get.
Well that’s just you being stupid
It’s still close to the price of a 2070
I meant 2080 not 2070
gpu.userbenchmark.com
It's literally 150€ less for a better card, at least in the EU. It's only better in multirendering and raytracing.
I understand, but OP wants a cheaper option, that shits the second most expensive video card you can buy
2060, 2060 Super for better performance and 8GB of VRAM, or a 2070.
I mean, 300€ for a 1080ti is a fucking deal. If you want to go lower you definitely won't be up to date.
The RX590 is also a deal for 200$ I guess. But if you want it to last, save the additional 100$ and get a real card. It will last you longer.
Just bought a 2060 RTX super, upgrading from a 1060 3gb. Gaming at 1080@144
5600 xt, you update the firmware and get the power of an rtx 2070
Where the fuck can you find a 1080ti for that price they’re, double that
Local hardware stores in germany sell them for that price. Like I said, it's the price in the EU.
All online shops are sold out on them because most people order cards online now. I bet if you go to a local hardware store in the US you won't have a problem finding one that's decently priced. Just gotta search a little.
Im still using RX480 Nitro+ but I was thinking about switching to 5700 or 5700XT. Which one would be better?
After this Wu flu shitstorm, would pc parts cost more or less?
1660ti
is a 5700xt for £300 a good deal?
I’m in Australia so there’s definitely no way to get it cheaper here and odds are the cheap places you’re buying from are stolen, a 500-600 euro card would not sell for 300 on average even in local shops
Well in germany you can't just double the price of listings however you please, there are laws that prevent shopowners from doing so. Onlineshops like ebay are a different story tho.
Don't know how it is in australia, but no matter where you live, you have to look for good deals. Call some hardware shops etc., don't just go on websites everyone visits.
definitely way more
2070 super
1650S, 1660S, 2060, 2070S, 2080/2080S, 2080Ti
Pick the one closest to your pricepoint. I would’ve listed cards like the 5700 and 5700 XT though they have unresolved stability issues.
an RX 470-580 8GB, or an RX 5700 with a bios flash to the XT card
>after the kung flu virus
True that, I think i will wait for after. Consumer electronics will most likely the stuff people have the least money for as the economy slowly winds up again, so I expect a lot of inflation to go out of the market.
>that won't cost thousands
RTX 2070 Super. It can be juiced enough to give close to 2080 performance without paying for it.
5700XT is way more powerful than 5700, user. If you don't know anything about GPUs just look at the price, it's generally a good indicator for the performance you might expect. If you're planning to use that card for 60 fps full hd better get a 2060 super than a 5700xt.
he's not a pleb
The fuck are you talking about lol, the XT is only at best 10% faster
750 dollars is not "thousands".
Wait for the new console gen and RTX 3xxx series to drop. It's going to make current high-tiers like the 5700x and 2070S/2080S way cheaper.
Still makes way more sense to wait for the new consoles than buy now. Or rather, wait for AMD's RDNA2 and Nvidia's Ampere that will likely launch close to the new consoles and will in at least some sense compete with them, hopefully lowering prices at least a bit.
Seriously dude post proof, brick and mortar stores here never sell cheaper
Heavily assuming they launch on time which they probably won’t. They are still a year away.
Anything more than the PS3 launch price may as well be in the thousands. Especially for a card that's only marginally better than a 2070 Super. Really, the entire Turing series should be at least $100 cheaper than it is, but hey rushed out hardware ray tracing before it was ready just so they could promote their silly "RTX On" meme.
New GPUs or new consoles? Because in the end the new GPUs are what you're really waiting for. But those might get delayed too because of Coronabirus fucking everything over.
Radeon RX 570, 580, 590 OP
Both are getting delayed, pretty much guaranteed at this point.
RX 580 -> 1660 Super -> 5700 XT, pick one depending on your budget.
It won't you dumb retard, they will just stop being manufactured.
Or are you honestly suggesting to buy used when you get all kinds of errors and crashes that you blame on drivers later.
RX570 if you're a 1080p peasant. 5700 non XT flashed with XT bios for 1440p
I have a 1050ti card paired with a i5-5xxx.
Can I replace the card and last a bit longer or should I wait to build a new PC?
>RTX
Has nothing to do with the price. It's AMDs inability to compete with Nvidia on a performance level that allows them to charge how much they want. If AMD was offering a card that gets within spitting distance(
I'm enjoying my 5700xt
If you only play old games you should get a 570/580 for best value
If you're willing to wait it's probably the better thing to do
Just don't buy anything with "RTX" in the name
The 5700 can easily do 4k at medium-high settings
Some used middle cards probably. rx580, 1060 and so on.
I'd rather wait for consoles at this point to be honest, Nvidia got extremely greedy and AMD can't design good GPU to save their lives.
