Anyone want to coop? Just got to the dream region, so I'll do anything before that.
Switchglaive's getting nerfed right?
RUBBISH. A MERE TRINKET.
I use purification talismans
ty 4 fred
I would user but I'm done for the night. 7AM here.
I run lightning and purification talismans since damn near everything is resistant to fire. They made it clear depleting yokai ki is the name of the game this time.
Why not a blessed weapon instead?
I'm down for an expedition . What's the password?
For the brainlits.
>Fire = Damage over time
>Lighting = Sloth, but a bit worse
>Water = Enemy takes 20% more damage
Oh boy its the same dogshit Azai twilight mission its been every 2nd day since release.
why is there so many more people of Red holy shit
where's purification talisman
I hate those birds almost as much as I hate gaki
Switchglaive isn't overly powerful compared to anything else, even though it didn't need half of the few buffs it got from Beta to LCT/release, and it actually could do with a few improvements to some lesser used aspects, just like every other weapon. The biggest problem is the enemies themselves being paperthin. On another note I find it hilarious and disappointing how I called the general reaction to Switchglaive after the Beta so accurately.
password is eee. Hope we can get another along for the ride.
Isn’t that just blessed?
Game is an absolute joke, I'm bored running bare-handed when I want to play... DLC by the end of May?
I would but if I mess up someone will make a webm and post it here and then everyone will laugh at me
WHERE THE FUCK IS EARTH DAMMIT.
>tfw when your super special snowflake set that no one else uses gets you killed
>tfw STILL no face
Fuck.
no, no it isn't. there are a lot of reasons to use a purification talisman instead of a blessed weapon.
why doesn't the umi bozis do a grab like this?
Bros is there any way to recover youkai shift gauge? Will absorbing amrita make it grow back? I know this is probably a dumb question but I dont really use shift at all so I'm not familiar with how it works.
It got split in two and handed on a silver platter to everyone so they can bullshit everything easy with Confusion and stupid high max Ki damage. The question is where the fuck is Wind, and why the fuck is Lightning still here?
Toyotomi has 10% chance for bonus amrita on loot and a 20 point life recovery on amrita absorption, IE the shitter clan with the most people.
Such as?
>that mission where you gather the fragments of hiragumo
>second area has giant spider leave massive web in the middle of area
>get zapped by lightning oni-bi, now shocked
>go low stance to get distance
>step in massive web that still hasn’t disappeared so dodge slows down
>get webbed by baby spider
>so fucking slow that I cant even start my dodge before hammer guy walks up and smashes my shit
Fuck the spiders, somehow worse than in nioh 1
Yes, absorbing Amrita refills it. Amrita gets created by using your alternate abilities in a form, touching Yokai Realms and your standard attacks while in Dark Realm, on top of all the normal ways that release Amrita like killing things, staggering Yokai and using Yokai Skills. The Amrita hovers in the air and gets absorbed into you after a while, but you can absorb it instantly to yourself by pressing R1+R2 at any point or animation, or use it to instantly power up your weapon by holding Triangle.
They aren't. Pretty much every recurring enemy is worse in the first Nioh simply because they hit harder and with less build up.
here's one for free, there isn't a corruption talisman so if you want have corruption but also want access to purification then you need to use a yokai weapon and a purification talisman. here's one more, your weapon is part of a set and you don't feel like spending (potentially) hours to farm and forge until you get your weapon with imbue purity on it.
that part filtered me so fucking hard as an axe user
Good hustle!
Thanks for the info. I'm trying to make a pseudo shuten build and I want to be in brute form using his soul core as much as possible.
There isn't a Corruption talisman but there is an Arcana.
did you get a 3rd? I tried to join but couldnt find
Don't talismans also scale with your magic and generally do more damage per hit than the naturally imbued weapons?
Yeah he did
FUCK
The duration does, but not the potency. However yes, buffs and Arcana generally outdamage/are more effective than Imbue effects.

>stand next to gyuki's fat ass
>water sword
pretty satisfying
Will we likely get another NG+ cycle before the DLC releases? It's been so long since the release of the original game that I can't recall what the patch releases were like.
I can have a yokai weapon with purity?
Ahhh I gotta head out, that was super fun though. Osakabe is many times harder on an expedition with how tanky those tentacles are, damn. Good job bros.
See ya buddy. And thanks
no, they're reselling endgame again.
the ki cost isn't worth it. everything resists it so it's requires a lot of attacks to fully stack and keep on. putting corruption on only one of my skills instead of all my skills and basic attacks means it takes longer to stack, more ki is spent in general because now to stack corruption i'm spamming this one ki heavy skill over and over again, and it's harder to keep active. also maxing the sentience bar vastly increases the amount of corruption applied per hit.
no.
My dead twin brother dropped that...
Did anybody get grabbed?
osakabe can grab? It was my go to proficiency farm (the mission anyways) until they made proficiency a joke so I've fought it quite a bit, don't think I've ever seen it.
Is there any trick to Yokai Shift Grapple?
Are there any shortcut tech to it?
I know that you can execute it if you're fast enough after staggering a nigga with a burst counter.
The yokai shift buttons also do it
There's no real trick, it's just very simple. Pay attention to how low an enemy's Ki or max Ki is, then if you see that your Burst Counter knocks them down, press Triangle. It's less about being fast and more that you press the button when they're open to be Grappled, because normally you can cancel a successful Burst Counter into any attack, but otherwise you stay in the form for about a second. You can also pop Yokai Shift if an enemy is just generally open for a Grapple and it will do the Yokai Shift Grapple instead of the normal animation.
I suppose I should also mention that activating Yokai Shift via a Grapple also fills all your Yokai Skill gauges so you can immediately start using them, so if you're looking to use offensively this is the best way to do so.

What's your least favourite non-boss enemy? Handcannon ninja Yoki for me, those fuckers do way too much way too fast.
Nigga dey all chinese. Is there an actual translation anywhere or do we have to wait for the official one? Does it mention anything about fixing Level Sync?
so why the fuck is the hatchet so trash? I love using different weapon but holy shit this is on another level of shit.
Very nice
Tessos. They're like a fucked up version of master splinter. And their grab attack makes me wanna kill myself. If it didn't kill me outright
see ya, thanks for joining.
Because it's a difficult weapon to use and understand and all it's main strengths lie in things that aren't necessarily immediate DPS or burst (despite still having options for those), so people assume it's bad. It's basically Tonfa all over again.
Ninja and cannon yoki.
Tonfa isn't hard to understand. what you talking about
Where can I get Hanbei's armor? That's some slick shiek looking shit
I've met many people on Yas Forums, if anyone ever seethes so much they cry here then the jokes on them. People are generally chill.
>wtf this damage is shit this weapon sucks
>ki damage? mobility? what's that? the numbers are small see? tonfa gun is mandatory to do ANYTHING
The really funny thing is that Tonfa, like all the other weapons, was barely changed going from 1 to 2.
It's like the devs were fully aware how much of a chore these enemies were in the first game and gave them smaller health pools in Nioh 2.
just harakiri bro
Brainlet here. Should I upgrade the Seething Dragon in NG+? What if I use talismans all the time anyway, I will overwrite the yokai buff, no? Shouldn’t I aim for +melee damage instead?
Reminder that the Dunk exposed your shitty tranny game
wonder if thats the reason why so many red graves seem to belong to Toyotomi. Though thats probably just because of how many people are in that damn clan
if I wanted you to say anything
I just killed cat tits. Fun fight, but way too easy in my opinion. only took me two tries to kill her.
So why is hatchet shit?
is janomecho real
