I didn't think the combat system would feel so much better in this. I mean it's largely the same, but the small things like how attacks can be disrupted based on your distance and orientation of your body, the really accurate hitboxes, the blood splatters, it all just adds up. I usually stuck with ranged in Warband but here I go in two handed wielding my gigadick into battle.

Reminder it was only in development for 3 years, it was on hiatus after the first development team was disbanded 2 years in and went on pause for 3 years. They werent sweating in an office for 8 years user, it was 3 years.

I'm doing a village quest where we have to wait for deserters, but anytime the deserters get on the screen, the game crashes. I could just run away but I don't want to fail the quest :(

I've been in an 800+ siege and it runs fine. Frame drops to 40FPS at some points but that's to be expected. This is all on ultra. Your computer is a POS or you're doing something wrong.

How do I increase the limit of party members in bandit hideout attacks?

are you an idiot? The new engine gives the potential for 1000 vs 1000 battles with no lag maybe something beyond that, physics system for seiges , lineges, skyrim level character customization and all of this will be able to be heavily modded.

I am not as happy with the game as I thought I would be. I am enjoying it, but the game is literally just Warband with some improvements. That sounds cool and all, but it includes so many of the frustrating things about Warband. I guess what I mean is that I played for around 5 hours today and I am still running around with shit tier troops chasing down groups of 10 raiders to try and get some small amount of XP and gold. I have done this a million times in Warband and it doesn't feel different in Bannerlord. I also have seen repeats of the same exact quests multiple times over such a small period. That is a Warbanner issue too, but I don't see a reason why it also has to be a problem in Bannerlord. It is like there is 10 quests or something.
I think I am gonna take a break from it and not burn myself out. I am hoping that they will add more content and improve the game so I see no reason to play it for 100 hours yet. Worse case and they don't? Won't make a difference playing later then so it is fine.

Because in Skyrim, with my 1070, I still get like fucking 50 FPS on a good day (and that is without a ton of graphical mods) but I can get a constant 120+ in Bannerlord with a large number of troops. I haven't done like a 500 vs 500 battle, but I did have a 120 vs 100 and it was at 100 FPS the entire time (except for one frame drop at the very start of the battle, possibly when it spawned in the troops).

OK but bannerlord has objectively better gameplay and literally no one who's played both could say otherwise
