Wait this shit has been in open beta for 3 days already? Talk about under the radar. I'll give it a shot tomorrow, but not expecting much at all, looks pretty shit.

They fucked up so it was only on xbox until now.

Only for Xbox because the PS4 and PC servers were borked on launch. No one's been able to play on anything but the sauce box until today.

I managed to get a game, it was ok but the tutorials really don't convey much for the Survivor. Also, movement feels a bit janky, doesn't feel like it's the thing I'm used to in RE2R and RE3R
Overall ok, will play some more tomorrow

Been playing the Xbone version all week. The core game is fine, it can be fun, but you will never get far if ONE person on your team is a useless retard. You can't carry your team in this. You cannot make the retard running around with a key item, place the fucking item so we can leave. You can't stop your team from constantly dying and running the timer out. You have to hope and pray you get some decent people. I played with some teams where we were on point, everyone was great and we crush it. But like I said, all it takes is ONE FUCKING person to ruin your chances- and let me tell you, even with a good team, it's easy to get fucked, you're just minimizing your odds. Like in F13 and DBD, you can still beat the killer by yourself if you're good, or if one or two teammates are garbage, it's workable. I just don't see myself playing it for long without a core team to play with.

They would have to make side areas to create potential spawn points like Valve did with Left 4 Dead. But that would make too much sense and is therefore unlikely to happen.

I just looked at screenshots and the description and assumed the 1 player plays as Mr X, in which case it would've been basically the exact same game with the same highschool stereotype characters.

You can control Mr.X only temporarily, the guy playing as the mastermind primarily looks through the surveillance cameras, locks door, spawns zombies, sets traps, etc. Controlling the B.O.Ws is just a small part.
