PSN gives you current gen games while Nintendo gives you ancient NES and SNES games so obviously it costs more

I feel more ripped off that I can't opt out of the additional "benefits" of PS Plus/Xbox to get online play at a lower pricepoint. $60 a year and most of the package is shit I will never ever care about.

Paid online in general is a scam. They took something that was originally part of the package and sold it as a separate service to people who didn't know better. It is just a way to increase the price of games without people realizing that the price has increased.

20 dollars a year is literally nothing even for a wagey job. Back when it was just the NES games I wouldn't call it particularly worth it, but getting access to the SNES games makes it a lot more worthwhile than virtual console was with its shit.

I got it for free with amazon prime but that's gonna run out soon. When it does I don't think I'll renew it cause I'll be fine without it. The only thing I'll miss is the shiny raids with /vp/ but that just means I won't have to host anymore. Glad I never got pokemon home either

The biggest scam is the lack of voice chat through switch and must use a phone app instead. I play fortnite on switch and headphones work fine on it with voice chat intact so Nintendo has no excuse.

It's mostly fucked up because of how their internet is fucking P2P. It makes poor netcode absolutely obvious when you're playing with someone with a garbage connection. I probably wouldn't be as annoyed as I am by this if all games ran as well as Splatoon or MK8.

Nintendo online is so fucking laggy that Pro Smash Ultimate players tell people not to play online because the lag is so bad that it ruins your reaction time because your mind subconsciously learns to play around the lag.
