I used fov120 to 130 (depending on the mode) even back when I played UT in 800x600

games that don't let you freely adjust your fov (or hide your weapon) are casual trash, in UT you could set fov to 360 if you wanted (ofc the game wasn't playable like that but what's wrong with giving the player the motherfucking option holy fuck)

HE WANTS TO CREATE A GAME THAT CIRCUMVENTS THIS ISSUE, BUT HE CANNOT BECAUSE THERE IS NO OPTION TO PLAY GAMES LOCALLY. INVITING PEOPLE FROM HIS FRIENDS LIST WILL NOT CHANGE THIS. PLAYING WITH BOTS WILL NOT CHANGE THIS. I play every once in awhile. It's a shame that it took 3 years for the game to be somewhat playable. I still can't even play with some of my friends because the game doesn't run well on their PCs. It's also pretty pathetic how QC has less features than Quake Live.

I really hope they develop another Quake, but this time actually care about the IP. I'll stick with Diabotical when I goes open beta and maybe occasionally play QC.
