Talk to whatever NPC in Astra you need to start Iceborne. You can go back and plow through any remaining High Rank shit you haven't done yet later if you want. All you're probably missing is some extra mantles from the quests that unlock for hitting max research on most of the base game monsters.

I just watched Iceborne and MR on PC, I'm still wearing Tzi-Tzi set and using Defender Swag Axe, someone give me some initial armor/weapon that'll last me a little while in this frozen ass wasteland.

Kulu or Puke are good options for most weapons early in MR. They're easily better than almost anything you can make until after Velkhana.

Honestly just make anything, even bone armor in MR was better than my max upgraded Nerg/Odogaron set.

Clear out your optionals/deliveries, some unmarked ones unlock optionals that actually give you shit like the low rank capture chain that gets you the Thunderproof Mantle at the end.
Do events to get tickets for layered armor later I guess.
Give Behemoth a try, don't expect randoms to be very helpful though.
Avoid Leshen unless you really want that Geralt cosplay because he's fucking cancer.

I finally got Beo's large gold crown today, after capturing / hunting 103 of them. He shattered my last 'most hunted' record of Furlgur-nath of 66 times trying to get both of his.So now, probably finish the bounties then back to the ruiner spirit vein gem event. Capcom was pretty based for bringing all the events back like that.

Does the new stuff for steamworks where you use more fuel for more rewards work on the special rewards like gold melding tickets or king spheres?

If you don’t mind running back to camp mid hunt, choose the Xeno LBG. If you do, choose the Safi LBGs.

You will get GF after you solo the MR200 quest under 15 minutes.

In 3U and just made a Volvidon high rank set. Currently hunting Barioth for its Claw+ to upgrade my Water SnS and just got done with two hunts where I got the low rank Barioth Claw parts instead (8% drop each). Cleaned up the house a bit to cool off and now I'm coming back.
