I didn't even know this existed in the first place.
Well, that's the point.
Why the FUCK don’t they make Mario sports games anymore?
They made a tennis one with story and dlc
Remember when Mario served in Vietnam?
I bought a nintendo tablet hoping they'd release a new mario golf.
dem chinkies I hope they deliver
>It ain't me-a starts playing
Remember when Dixie Kong and Classic Final Fantasy characters joined the fun in Mario Hoops 3-on-3?
All from the same spinoff series and on the same console.
Loved that game.
What the fuck is his problem?
Are any of these playable at all? I know Top 100 is pure streamlined cancer.
>so long gook bowser
Someone fill me in on this one, how is it? I'm looking at picking up some forgotten Gameboy titles and I keep seeing this around.
Island Tour is decent enough.
I legit forgot about Island Tour, what the fuck.
>no original characters or creativity like the last ones
dropped
I loved it personally, played the shit out of as a kid and still pop it in occasionally.
It's a pinball game with objectives and collectibles, it can be fun, but it's widely know for being too hard because there's no scrolling and each screen is the same size of the GBA screen, so shoots needs to be precise and can be very frustating.
>White Mage Rosalina
Forgotten implies that you've heard about its existence before and you forgot. This is the first time I'm hearing about a Mario sports game on the 3DS, the advertising must have been abysmal for this one.
Super Mario Strikers
Mario Strikers Charged football
Good takes, thanks for that. I'll keep an eye out for it for the time being, if I can snag it for dirt cheap then I'll give it a go.
Those games are missed user, not forgotten. Waluigi's crotch chop has kept it known in the normie space.
Only because that would've worked better as a switch title
>Tennis has been remade twice on consoles
>still no Mario golf
What about those weird SNES ones like Mario is Missing or Mario's Time Machine?
Sheesh dude, relax. You dont have to be so autistic about pedantically nitpicking the definition of a thread's topic. Contribute or be quiet.
I remember not liking Island Tour at all
Haven’t played the others
Not him, but you're the one that started with the attitude problem
3DS Golf bombed big time, even worse than Golden Sun Dark Dawn.
On a related note
Meant to reply to this:
>That clip of chibi
Was this any good? How was the single player content?
The Mario sports tend to sell poorly on handheld consoles anyway.
Leave it to Nintendo to assume a 3ds title bombing means people hate Mario golf entirely
Sorry but I wasn't the original user he was responding to. Great try though, really showed me.
Game Freak made this one.
>still no virtual console on the switch
>still no N64 nor Gamecube titles on the switch
I love this console but this is unacceptable
>Yoshi's Island is popular AF
>Story tries to make Yoshi carry game without Mario involvement and tries new mechanics, mixed reception
>Gyroscope tech demo
>Touchsvreen tech demo
>LORE
>NSMB filtered Yoshi
>Good-ass game recycling yarn motif from their Kirby game
>Good-ass game 2
Weird history
autism speaks
>A game with MARIO wearing a bucket on his head!
>Leave it to Nintendo to assume a 3ds title bombing means people hate Mario golf entirely
This applies to pretty much all their franchises, stuff like Chibi Robo, Advance Wars, Starfy, Dillon, Wave Race etc... had their last games flop compared to their previous installments and they ditched them because of it, doesn't matter if their previous games did well, one flop and it's dead forever.
Too soon?
I keep getting tempted to buy this when it goes on sale but I fucking hate those rabbids so much (like Proto-Minions).
I don't mind the Rabbids that much, but something about the presentation of this game just throws me off. I love tactical RPGs, but something's off about this one. Maybe it's the fact that everyone's using guns? Just feels wrong.
Don't scare me like that, I thought Nintendo actually released it in the west.
The game is entirely in English, I have no clue why they kept it in Japan.
Probably because it was a mouse only game and would sell only to those who have Mario Paint.
>Strikers/Strikers Charged have the most expressive versions of Mario cast to date
>no third game in sight
Did Nintendo pull the plug on the series because they didn't want Next Level Games reminding people that Mario and the gang can emote just fine?
The game is not that obscure since it's commercial was the origin of Gangster/Rapper Mario, which was everywhere in the 2000's.
literally nobody played this
That would have gave that damn mouse some extra use.
>even worse than Golden Sun Dark Dawn.
A game I've replayed once a year since its release.
>What if we added the Final Fantasy cast from Mario Hoops alongside the Dragon Quest Slime?
>And let's add some boss fights too
I really hoped Square would have continued onward to a full-on Sports RPG with Mario and FF characters. Fortune Street was too good for the west.
I did
Mario Dodgeball is fun as fuck
Honestly its one of my favorite games on the switch, the gameplay is so fun and solid that I dont mind shooting those stupid god damn rabbids in the face. The cutscenes are kinda cringe, but Rabbid Luigi is pretty inoffensive when it comes to them.
Mario Golf: World Tour was the best Mario sports game of the 3DS/Wii U generation, and no one bought it.
If that was the case then why did they let them have Luigi and the others emote as well in the Luigi's Mansion sequels
Luigi has been a Coward since the 80's this isn't new.
