The game just tells you exactly how to kill the guy and people still have trouble with him. I can't believe it.

I think the main problem people have with the marauder is they don't realize you can still shoot him when he's faltered. When you realize that he becomes ez as long as you have room to maneuver.

I kill him real quick and still think he sucks, it's just everyone who likes him seems to need to pretend that those who don't find him too hard for some reason.

cacodemons are in a weird spot in this game
you can essentially one shot them any time with the basic ass shotgun but if you dont kill them asap they are dangerous as hell both ranged and melee
also feels like the game telegraphs "use BFG here" when it spawns like 6 cacos in the air at once along side all the other stuff

I just do the BFG trick to cheese him every time I face him now. You rarely need to use BFG in this game so just save them for Marauders

even if archive summons them, they aren't that big a deal if you know how to detonate rockets at the right time

The levels only give you one Marauder to fight at a time, but Archvile can summon them, possibly resulting in multiple of them at once
