This is an inferior product to the masterpiece that was last year's REmake 2. Be sensible. Be smart. Be reasonable. Do NOT buy this cashgrab day one. Wait for a sale like I am. The game does not justify a 60$ price tag. It was made by the B-team and it shows.
Capcom outsourced the remake of our beloved Resident Evil 3 (1999) and we are very pissed off...
they are mostly shitting on nemesis being inferior to mr. x and 30% of the game are literal setpieces with the game having literally no replay value since there are no extra modes other than resistance

Resident Evil 3 was always a shitty cash grab rehash of Resident Evil 2. It was basically just an expansion pack that Capcom realized they could charge full price for. A "Jill disc" for Resident Evil 2 that ended up being sold as a full fledged numbered game.
Code Veronica is the real Resident Evil 3 and it's a much better game than Nemesis. I will fite any RE fanboy IRL who disagrees.

The knife change was in the original game, Jill stabs with her knife instead of slashing like claire and leon. The subweapon to break away is a change that I expected desu, since Jill can dodge and dodging was a huge part of re3; there's no reason why you'd be able to use subweapons to escape zombies when you have a button that does that.
Should have just given us Outbreak Remastered if they wanted a cashgrab. I don't get why they still refuse to do so even though there's clearly a demand for it.
