there are like a thousand types of these games on PC, literally pick one.

But they're not Animal Crossing.

Name five. Keep in mind we’re going to call you a fucking idiot if you say “The Sims” or “Stardew Valley.”

then buy a switch or wait until you can play it on emulator (which defeats the purpose of the game I suppose)

What we need is Xenoblade chronicles 2 on steam, I'd literally find the cure for cancer for it

Imagine not owning a PC AND a Switch. Absolutely pathetic.

Not really, there were barely even any harvest moon clones until Stardew Valley. There's a really shitty AC clone called Garden Paws on Steam, that's about it.

Ryujinx can run this, it's playable but not perfect at all.

Do PCfags even want animal crossing on PC? That doesn't really seem like a genre for the average PC user.

This. Idort master race.

>$3000 for a PC with zero exclusives
Seems reasonable
>$300 for a Switch with multiple exclusives
NO!

literally just go on dlsite and filter by rpg

A Short Hike
My Time at Portia
Dragon Quest Builders 2
Harvest Moon: Light of Hope
Staxel

Why would you have a PC? To play multiplats that are already on Switch?

Stardew Valley was pretty successful on PC. PCs also include low-spec laptops.

I would let a child use a Switch but I'd be found dead before letting them onto the cesspool called Steam.

that $3000 pc will get you infinitely better performance and visuals than a switch could ever hope of. Also, exclusives doesn't equal good

do americans really?

youtube.com/watch?v=yS8OlpSNM1k
here you go bro

because the switch can't run actual modern games retard

I play pretty much every jrpg nowadays but xenoblade 2 has bo business being on the switch, it runs and look like shit 99% of the time, I want it on PC and I don't want to wait for yuzu to be able to emulate it at 4k60

>Rachel
opinion discarded

yES
I would love a fucking shitty farming/dressup sim game where I have to change my computers clock to progress

>generic looking animal villagers
it's like they don't even get why people play animal crossing

These are either harvest moon knockoffs, bad harvest moon games, or Minecraft like games. None of these are like animal crossing

>it's playable but not perfect at all.
Oh yeah, FPS in the single digits and missing fonts and text from the menus, very playable

let me guess
Yas Forums has made you think people play it because they want to fuck the animals?

The Penisneid of Doomtards is fucking pathetic. Cope & Seethe

No interest in nintenfurry games
>Rachel

Yes, it is. You can play it right now.

Any game not on switch, FPS', or multiplats. Having anything else is a waste of money and shelf space

Can we now admit that there are portbeggars on every platform?
PC with any exclusive
Nintendo with Persona 5
Sony with any Nintendo exclusive
Xbox is the same as PC

Why would you have a switch? To play bing bing wahoos that you can already emulate on pc?

No. They're not at the same level at all though. Sony port begs for EVERYTHING even though Nintendo ALWAYS has many Nintendo games for Nintendo systems. However, atlus has their games on the switch and is exclusively making a SMT game for switch. It makes sense for Nitnendo fans to want PS5.

However, Sony and Microsoft just port beg for fucking Mario and zelda, knowing its not going to happen.
>inb4emulator
>inb4 nintendofanboyism insults
yeah yeah I get it, you have no argument.

Weak bait, switch/PC is literal master race. Here's your (YOU)

made*

Time travellers do not understand the appeal of AC. You need a working brain and friends so sorry your not the demographic

This. Nobody is begging for bloodborne or god of soi on switch but games like persona 5 make sense on a handheld

I think he means the superior game which is already on pc Stardew valley

Nintendo's games already make their way to PC eventually through emulation. They could be making a lot of money if they would give people a legal option that was more convenient and offered a better experience right out the gate.

If PC is so great, then why are mustard race faggots always begging for console games?

>Port begging is now worthy of being a journalist article

No surprises there, I guess.

>tfw comfy playing CK2 and animal crossing rn

shits lit

Stardew Valley is still worse than several harvest moon games and animal crossing

if AC comes to PC it's going to bomb specifically because there is suddenly competition. Notice how nintendo always has to innovate something new for their games? They know if they try to compete with other titles they will JUST lose. There isn't "one" better game than AC probably, but there are enough games on the market that a majority of people will be "I already have (less popular but similar game), I will keep playing that instead of forking over 60 freedom units."

It's true, PC doesnt have anything comparable to nintendo's lineup. We had a brief romp with 3D platformers with yook and hat kid, but nothing much since. No Zelda adventures. TemTem is trying to get pokemon's genre at least.

pretty much this.
anyone remember the shit storm snoynggers made over Astral Chain? Do not put Nintendo fans and Sony + xbox fans on the same level in terms of port-begging.

what competition

Ittle Dew is a decent 2D Zelda

Is there an AC clone that has online multiplayer and likeable villagers with dialogue? I feel Nintendo is focusing on the wrong things

Why would i need this game on PC? I would probably play it for a couple hours then drop it out of boredom like all the other ACs

this looks like newgrounds stuff

Every other comfy whatever-simulator. People have already suggested games that are relatively similar. Doesn't matter that they are worse. Yes, there will be some people that will buy it, but there will be others that won't because they've invested too much time in their game of choice.

Yeah a bit. I've only played the first one and it's pretty short but it's fun

the only one Ive seen is Stardew. Which is already competition on Switch.

Whens a big studio gonna make something Nintendo-like for PC.

>Decent

Hahaha, oh please.

Stardew valley was fun for a good 1.5-2 in-game years. After you finish the community center, the incentive to play plummets. As there is nothing truly to gain by continuing. You only think of ways to make more money. After the community center, I invested in iridium sprinklers, and the experience was over. I saw that my far was almost 100% automated. And therefore, I was just running around and pressing the "collect money" button. It became an elaborate clicker style game.

Nothing to lose = Nothing to gain. Worse than being a bad game, it became a grey experience.

I get roughly 25 fps outdoors with a stock ryzen 1600 and no missing fonts. The only issue I have is the audio is glitchy and acts up a lot, I also have a crash every few hours. Considering that the game has been out for a bit more than a week this is honestly pretty decent performance.

Just play stardew valley and minecraft.
Or get a switch you poorfag.

>$800 for a PC with 99.9% of all games ever made for free, with free online play, modding and vastly superior performance to any console
Seems pretty good to me.

All the old Animal Crossing games are playable on PC and soon this one will be too.

Completely agree with you. If the NPCs were less bland, expanded the map through updates, gave you more to do in winter, added more holidays and events, and improved the combat it would be a hell of a lot better. That being said, a sequel with those improvements is possible

>We need a game like Animal Crossing
>When is Nintendo porting their games to PC?
I literally though the article was gonna be about how PC developers should try "new" things not port begging.
