Bloodborne and Dark Souls 3 have the same flaws. Too derivitive, too much focus on combat, too linear on top of that Bloodborne lacks build variety but the flaws are more pronounced in ds3, although not to the same extent as ds2fags would have you believe.
You can't deny the fact that BB and DS3 are way more lienar than DS2. Maybe that's one of the reason why people prefer DS2. I don't know, maybe.
Game is fun as fuck, and yes all bosses are fantastic except for Yhorm, Wyvern and Wolnir. Still, there are valid concerns about this game:

It baffles me that people always bring up Anor Londo as a weak-point of DaS3. The area isn't particularly bad and the series has "rehashed" things since DeS (guys look, it's a thing I recognize, that means they're pandering!). I'm convinced that a bunch of scrubs just got filtered by the archers and Alderich Faithful ganks. The true sin of DaS3 is how bad Lothric Castle and the DLCs are, bosses non withstanding.

DS3 deserves a fuckload of criticism: its balance is horrible, netcode is atrocious, it has no functional anti-cheat, no mod support or SDK of any sorts, no functional regional matchmaking, the mouths of the fucking NPC's don't move when they are talking (except Adre), bugs, crashes, poor optimization, shit controls, generally bad game mechanics, and the list goes on. But Yas Forums, being fucking autists, bash it for completely subjective issues instead.

It's the best in the series. Going back to the original Dark Souls feels janky as shit after playing 3. 2 is a mixed bag, Bloodborne is about as good as 3. Demon's is like that prototype with a lot of good ideas but with gameplay and certain mechanics really showing their age.

Want a passive MP regen build? IIRC simple's on par with crescent but there's no ring to pair it with. There's 1 reliable MP regen weapon and it's STR based. Want to play through the game with 2kat? Then you'd better take your ass to NG+ because 2kat is locked behind 3 lords due to the story of an NPC that you can't even speak with and who left the wrong corpse behind which FROM couldn't be bothered to fix. Want a toxic weapon? Tough shit. And glossing over the shit that got gutted or straight up left out there were the constant balance changes that fucked up weapon progression, a lot of cool shit was nerfed to hell & back before DS3 even hit the US. Even all that aside DS3 was built entirely on references, they forgot to put an actual core to it. The catacombs and demon ruins are straight up Bloodborne assets which I wouldn't mind if the areas didn't suck. Anor Londo is just a few shit covered rooms. The game's so unfinished that the map that came with the CE has locations that aren't even in the game.

Curse-Rotted Greatwood, Crystal Sage, Deacons, High Lord Wolnir, Yhorm, Aldrich, Oceiros, Ancient Wyvern, Gravekeeper and Halflight are all bad.
Iudex Gundyr, Vordt, Abyss Watchers, Pontiff, Dragonslayer, Twin Princes, Champion are "okay" fights for one reason or another.
The only decent to good fights in DaS3 are Old Demon King, Nameless King, Soul of Cinder, Friede, Demon Prince, Midir and Gael.
If those are the "decent to good fights" the rest of the souls series has nothing. Oh wait don't tell me royal rat vanguard is actually god tier.
