I do, and while nostalgic as fuck, they were shit times.

Played this until I realized I liked the cosmetics more than the gameplay. Joined a Private server not long after and played a couple of those for a year or two. This and combat arms for a couple years

Either teleporting as a mage player or double jumping as a sin player. You could also drop money on a specific spot on the hay stacks and if players tried to pick it up their game would crash.

I played some of it a long time ago, but I didn't get very far. I remember running around the ghettos as a thief, trying to climb up some shopping mall tower that I had no business being in at my level. One thing I do remember and wish more games would implement was that system where you could hire and place NPC vendors to sell your shit for you so you don't have to just stand around spamming offers. I think it's a good balance between manual advertising/trading and globohomo auction houses.

I remember people wouldn't invite warriors for kpq unless they were 29~30, or the party desperately needed a filler
If you had the dex to hit shit you didn't do any fucking damage (and this also meant you likely had too much dex)
If you had the str to do damage you would miss 95% of the time
kpq isn't the only exception though, pretty much everything about warrior pre-50 is a fucking nightmare

i was a lvl 80 chief bandit, my guild leader gave me 5mil for ergoth which was a lot at the time cause meso explosion damage was hilariously broken

I always played AriesMS and enjoyed it. come back every few years and my chars are all still there. It's not old school maple but it's not pay to win like GMS

I eventually moved to WoW because that's what all my friends played but I played Maple first and I'll never regret it, no other game has made me feel immersed in the same happy go lucky sense of adventure and wonder. The maps were cool for sure but I think it was the music that really brought them to life. Fuck Maple's OST is so good

Not sure the program, but Studio EIM is responsible for music in both Maplestory and Mabinogi, particularly for the non-OG areas of Maplestory. They’re also apparently doing the music for Skul which looks like a cool game

StudioEIM doesn't do the new music anymore (they stopped around 2016). The new music is handed in-house by Nexon.

for as much shit as oldschoolmaple got, i really liked what they were doing and what it had, it was probably the closest i got to feeling like i was playing the game all over again
only the first 4 classes, 3rd job was the end, progressive exp shit made it not as much of a slog though i would've preferred it stopped at lv30 instead of 80

It's an abstract kind of feel. Getting up during summer break, playing some maple, grind for a bit, talk to friends, have genuine conversation on our lives, maybe go do a PQ or boss, fuck around and explore. Make a new character if I got too bored of main. All I could think about was how bright the future would be, how dope getting 4th job will be, how cool getting to the area and then the next boss will be. Only care in the world was making money to afford equipment and wondering how to make the """"girl"""" in my buddy list like me.
