yeah but my toaster is firing on all cylinders
overclock that bitch

For a while I had an old i7 920 with a gtx 1080, Frankenstein fuck of a machine, finally upgraded to a 6700k a few years ago

i hope you didnt drop the 1080
its still a really good card

Thinkchad reporting in.

this is mine
i know nothing about computers and i didnt build this one
is this good or bad?

Look at him and laugh

>Windows 10 Pro
>(presumably) flagship CPU with low end motherboard and graphics card
You got ripped off.

i dunno what any of that means but my dad built it for me

still at it with my i7 920, i'm equally as Frankensteiny, mismatching RAM and a monitor that's too good for what I play on.

Yo

Okay i found the software people were using, here's the full thing

For what it's worth, HL Alyx is the very first game that it for sure cannot play.
Also my motherboard's temp thing is broken damn.

Pro is generally a waste of money outside of an enterprise environment. I'm inferring that the CPU is an 8700K, which is the top of the line for its generation, but you have a cheap motherboard (squandering overclock potential) and a low end graphics card (which is a serious bottleneck in your system).

Your dad built a decent workstation, but a poor gaming PC.

HOLY MOLY

>motherboard at 193 degrees C
bruh

Attached: doc3.jpg (300x300, 22.09K)

rate my toaster

Attached: speccy.png (744x525, 37.48K)

>193 degree MB
I hope you're using that thing to heat your room, jesus goddamn

oh i see
i think it runs most games fine, but i generally dont even notice things like fps, screen tearing or anti aliasing
so yea i guess it is wasted on me

I7 920 and radon 5800 is what I'm rocking now. 10 years old. Just ordered a new computer this week with ryzen 3600 and nvidia 2070

>Just ordered a new computer this week
Prebuilt scum detected

Seems like his dad may have gotten a free OEM key fromw ork or something. I bought a windows pro key for $5 off of some Russian website.

If you don't care about that stuff, it's just more expensive than it needs to be. If your dad paid for it and built it then it doesn't matter. Going forward, a GPU upgrade would make a huge difference.

I carried it over to my new build of course, it's a great card indeed

It's ok

>Rate my toaster
>Literally better than anything posted in the thread so far by a mile

he's probably not purchasing windows 10 pro full price

feeling that difference is going to be so nice

It's still a beast.

this isn't a toaster retard, it's an above average computer

>500 gb ssd
ruined

all you really need to do is upgrade the GPU, not really a toaster. Pre-skylake is like dipping your feet into toasterworld

>omgg everything that isn't an i7 9700 and rtx 2080ti is a toaster
people have gotten soft, they don't understand what it means to suffer

processor is overclocked to 4.4GHz
the GPU can't overclock manually but I gave it more voltage in the vbios and it auto clocks a little higher without crashing

Core2Duo/Quads and older are toasters. Maybe Haswell i3's and all FX CPUs. GPU Wise Nvidia 700 and older and AMD HD 6000 series and lower.
Update your bios to the latest version and get a X5660 Xeon.

>Panasonic-TV
>29Hz
good god man

Based 144hz dual monitor chad

Attached: Speccy3.png (939x461, 46.13K)

Bruhh now THIS is pain

Probably just going to sell my 980 TI and upgrade to something with more VRAM and just be done with this build and use it until it croaks.

Attached: speccy.png (970x559, 115.48K)

You either are a chad or own an Intel CPU. You can't do both.

kill yourself, you stupid sack of shit

It's fuckhuge and that's the only reason I keep it around, I can't find a better quality fuckhueg TV for cheap. It does run at 60hz under 1080 though.
I also have a color accurate monitor I do grafics work with but it ain't plugged in

>Brand bootlicker
Don't respond to me cretin, it's cringe

runs good. cpu is ancient compared to modern standards tho

Attached: 5f73.png (467x388, 21.77K)

am i doin it right?

Attached: 1570363784352.jpg (578x505, 51.99K)

>CPU hits 100°C
blame your shitty cooling then, you fucking retard

>Seagate
RIP

>windows 7
I miss it so

are you trying to fit in or are you just a quarantined child abused by dad

it's not a toaster by any means but should I just upgrade to a 2070 super or have some patience and save for a 2080 Ti?

Attached: specco.png (595x419, 22.99K)

tighten your ram timings people
this shit is disgusting

>mfw first worlders think this is a toaster

Attached: 1548376070967.jpg (300x300, 15.75K)

never had a problem with their drives. only had one HDD fail me in my life time and that was a WD external in 2007 when my sister tripped on the cord while I transferring something to it.

I have a dual boot with windows 10 just to fuck around with things but I use Win 7 as my daily OS.

Eh, I upgraded from a 970 and I could barely justify and only because I wanted something that wasn't on the low end for VR.
But you got 1440p 165hz so it would still benefit you, I'd go for the 2080Ti tho if I were you

I should probably upgrade

Attached: toast.png (751x524, 36.48K)

There is nothing wrong with a super hot computer.

seems like a lot of money to play just one game

made me fucking rofl desu (to be honest) bro

will high temps damage my GPU (talking like 83-89C)

I don't know if I want to get a proper GPU for my server and make it an all in one machine, or just start building from scratch for a dedicated gaming build?

Attached: ServerSpecs.png (791x563, 36.86K)

Nope, upgraded from /toaster/ to /midrange/
