There’s no way hopoo makes it in 2 days. Is there?
They've been good on every other release date, why would they fuck up now?
shut the fuck up tranny, they had to postpone every release
Quit doomposting. Hopoo will deliver.
What the fuck are you talking about? No they didn't
>doomposting
back to discord zoomie
so you weren't here for the previous releases, shut your trap then
>tranny
>zoomie
Christ, quit shitting up this thread with your buzzwords.
post hours
And what would that prove?
>w-w-what would th-that p-p-p-p-p-p-p-p-p-prove¡? huh??!?
>so you weren't here for the previous releases
I've been playing the game since its initial launch day, and you are talking out your ass.
The only delay was when the entire roadmap was delayed because the initial one was retardedly ambitious, but when they actually give out exact release dates they've never delayed on them.
After the initial change they said Skills 2.0 would release in September and it did, they said Hidden Realms would release in December and it did, they said Artifacts on the 31st, and it will
fuck off nigger
it's 100% correct that updates have been pushed back from the initial roadmap released a fucking year ago, but i think it's excusable considering the worst it's been is a couple of weeks further than it was initially set
from when they provide a specific date, there has been 0 delays. they set a tentative date on the first roadmap, turned out they couldn't reach it perfectly, so things got set back a little bit but it's still being released on the days they say it does
why do faggots like you look for excuses to whine and cry over every single fucking thing, there's far, far worse cases of early access not being on schedule out there
we've gotten every promise met so far and every update has released when they say it will after it becomes close enough for them to decide when it comes out
stop spreading misinformation faggot
Well, why are you avoiding the quesiton? What do my hours played have to do with anything?
If you have less hours than him, you're a noob and have no opinion
If you have more, you're a no life tryhard and have no opinion
nah if you have less than 100+ hours on risky 1 you are a casual shitter and have no right posting here
based post
how do I make commando fun? it's the worst class by a wide margin
>inb4 mando mains feeling personally attacked telling me to git gud
I'm not the person who you originally asked, but you should still stop using stupid buzzwords.
If you're asking advice for 2, I can't help you.
which stupid buzzwords did I use?
Get the shotgun and grenades
If you already have them git gud
Actual commando main here. His earlygame is one of the weakest for sure, pretty much only being better than Huntress. That doesn't mean he's unusable.
Your top priority early on is increasing your AoE and healing. There's pretty much guaranteed to be a healing drone on stage 1, or if not, get one on stage 2. Make sure you grab one of those and you'll be in okay shape for the rest of the first loop. Remember that Commando is built around proccing items. Focus on on-hit items, like AtG Missiles, Ukulele, tri-tip dagger, stun grenade, and so on. In particular, Stun Grenade is VERY slept on in regards to its utility. One stun grenade is a huge factor especially early on, and it can save you an early death coming from things like Clay Templars or Stone Golems.
It's pretty obvious by now, but use the shotgun alt. Commando's base kit lacks severely in damage, but the shotgun patches that completely and makes his damage able to compete with the strongest characters. Also, you should rush for the Preon Accumulator in stage 3. It's a massive boon to his AoE and damage early game, which are his biggest two weaknesses. Just use it strategically and you'll be safe until you reach around the point of obliteration, and at that point Commando's natural strength in proccing items is going to rule here. Make sure you get Len's Maker's Glasses whenever they're available, not stacking past 9. Get a Harvester's Scythe ASAP, it's the single best and most reliable healing item available to Commando. Leeching Seed is an okay substitute but the actual healing value is so low that it's more of a secondary source of healing than anything.
Commando is the most item-dependent character and that's not an exaggeration. However, the trade off for this is that he's the character who's best able to take advantage of the items he gets and benefits the most from them.

fucking where?
has you confused with
thanks that was actually really useful
I assumed that you were the other person (who originally asked for hours) in the reply chain starting here . If that's not you, then ignore what I said.
No problem. Commando is genuinely one of the most fun characters for me, but he's tricky to play well and requires some serious knowledge of the game despite being simple on the surface. Once you get good at him though, he can be insane.
oops. I don't remember saving the thumbnail.
haven't seen this one before, REX art is always cool to see
10-man when
REX doesn't have much fan art so far. It doesn't even have a tag on the booru.

Rate my revision of CHEF for RoR2. Damage values and cooldowns are hard to balance, so those are very much open to interpretation.
This mostly spawned from the simultaneous ideas of CHEF's flame being like REX's Disperse and a passive based around cooking gross Lemurian fillets.
Holy fuck, I'm an idiot. Can't post the character sheet and a reaction at the same time.
I really hope Mercenary's new shift ability is actually good and maybe even synergizes with his Judgment Cut
I honestly have no idea how Mercenary could possibly work without his current shift ability though so it's probably gonna be shit
My guess is just a modification of the current utility similar to Loader's grapple alt. Maybe they'll do away with the combo mechanic for increased power in a single dash or something.
Shit that wasn't meant to be a reply but I may as well rate it
That honestly sounds pretty great, would be cool to get more characters with unique debuffs. 8/10 would main
Unfortunately bodies are kind of limited in the graphics settings. It might just be better to have it be "enemies finished off by chef" add to the pool and chef poops out a healing item that behaves similarly to monster tooth.
And since Marinate makes enemies weak to burn and freeze, it would probably be better to have an ability freeze an enemy somehow. Refrigerate or Freeze Dry or something like that since there's already a fire based ability.
I disagree with the passive being something that's made to support other survivors. It's essentially useless in single player, which is a total no-no. Also, changing the M1 from the cool boomerang/piercing projectile in 1 to a melee attack is gay as fuck. I like the rest of the abilities though, although the utility skill is pretty much exactly like REX's alternate utility without the healing/hp cost which is a bit boring.
Yeah, I was trying to make it more unique and less overpowering by needing to be close to enemies, but it just complicates it.
Also sorry, pic related is the full sheet of what I'm thinking so far. That's why the freeze is a thing.
"Heals allies" includes you. You can eat your own food after a few seconds from dropping.
The change from boomerang cleavers was partially because of my random decision to make cooking close range and partially because it wouldn't work as well in 3D. As you'll see in pic related, I plan on including a ranged variant.
Is this an actual mod you're making, or just idea-guying?
It could work in 3d if you treat it as a weird long-range melee attack. Have it go around horizontally.
Just idea-guying. I wish I had the talent to mod, because I would definitely be trying to add every survivor from RoR1 back in.
Sadly I flunked out of GameMaker.
It kind of is. He stretches his arms to have a wider and longer arc than Mercenary by a significant amount.
This is a shitty pic of a sketch showing what I think CHEF would look like in RoR2.
