ONE! The parent is absolute. Their will must be obeyed. ...Yet I'm sensing some insubordination
TWO! The master is absolute. You give your life to keep him safe. You bring him back at any cost. ...At this rate, you'll lose him again
THREE! Fear is absolute. There is no shame in losing one battle. But you must take revenge by any means necessary! ...I wonder if you've got it in you - to bring me down

I always thought master was above father and was so confused when you broke the iron code by following Kuro.

Yeah I was confused too.
But father is the absolute, and the master is close second.

This is the Iron Code that Owl beat into Wolf when he groomed him into a Shinobi, to make sure Wolf wouldn't betray Owl
It ties nicely into when Wolf makes the decision to forsake the Iron Code to serve Kuro, AND when he chooses to obey the Iron Code too imo
Should Wolf choose to obey the Iron Code, he forsakes any compassion he had for Kuro, the only thing that was holding him back from becoming Shura
My criticism would be that the execution fell flat, and should have needed much more... exposure, I guess? Wouldn't know if that's the suitable word, but the execution of this trope is flawed

Well... I guess I'll be dumping art until the thread kicks off

Genichiro's probably my favourite character, even though he jobbed

*Ahem*
FUCK BUDDHA AND FUCK ASHINA!

Never watched the new Samurai Jack, how was it?

Attached: jackiro.jpg (758x960, 119.54K)

I'll admit it. I got filtered by the game. I need leveling up to succeed.

If i play again, what prosthetics should i upgrade and what skills should i get?

I actually wandered for quite some time, trying to see if I missed something, for some way to return the Buddha idol back to the temple/hut
Kinda sad that we can't do that desu

Attached: shadowsoulsborne.jpg (924x1200, 367.97K)

Someone in a thread a some days ago said that Emma hits at having feelings for Sekiro in one of the endings. I've seen all the endings now and in none of them does she imply anything. Did I miss some dialogue or something?

> I need leveling up to succeed.
THAT'S where you're wrong
There is no outlevelling the difficulty in Sekiro, user
Try, die, learn, repeat: that is the mantra of the game
>what prosthetics should i upgrade and what skills should i get?
Prosthetics? Technically you wouldn't NEED anything, but they can be quite useful
Shuriken and Fire Crackers are the most useful
Other great prosthetics are: Flame Barrel, Loaded Umbrella
A fun prosthetic is: Mist Raven
as for skills: Mikiri Counter, Shinobi Eyes, Ascending Carp, Descending carp, Floating Water are the only skills that are absolutely necessary to beat the game
Other skills aren't necessary, but they can come in handy

Attached: sekiro_souls_borne.jpg (1000x1000, 229.79K)

>prosthetics
Firecracker is your bread and butter. Sabimaru is good for like two minibosses, shuriken is good for one, flame is good for red eyed cunts but generally everything but firecrackers is gimmicky.

>skills
Mikiri counter asap. Posture passives, HP passives next. Ichimonji also. The Ashina skill tree is more or less the most useful one, monk tree is not.

I never beat the Demon of Hatred

forgot to add, umbrella is nearly mandatory for ape.

I did, but he feels like a Dark souls or BB boss. I don't blame ya

>Emma hits at having feelings for Sekiro in one of the endings
That user was projecting his ship then... In no Ending does Emma hint that she has feelings for Sekiro
HOWEVER, while doing the side quest that is required for attaining the Purification Ending, it becomes abundantly clear that Emma cares for Sekiro a lot, and does not want to lose him or Kuro
There is no indication that said caring feelings are romantic or not though

Ok that's what I thought. She cares for the both of them but there's no further hints beyond that. Some nice sexual tension later on though.

Say something nice about Lord Kuro

Like said, I don't blame you either, but I still think you should give it a shot and attempt to beat it
For all the help he's done for Sekiro, man atleast deserves freedom from eternal torment of being a mindless vessel of destruction, does he not?
While I still think he's kind of a bullshit fight, it's actually kinda fun to find all means by which you can dodge/block his attacks

I eventually did after finishing the game around 20 times
it was still unsatisfying, what a shit boss

he's almost as cute as riceloli.
speaking of, is she actually a loli? her voice and stature make her seem like an adult, but her face is a bit childlike and she's translated as "child of the rejuvenating waters." plus it might be a bit bewildering to have an ending with a pseudo-pregnant preteen.

Attached: 1573924268439.png (930x1250, 1M)

>Tfw you realize the rice are centipede eggs

Surprisingly mature kid whose maturity probably came from Sekiro just saying "DO WHAT MUST BE DONE" in the heat of the moment while defending him from Lady Butterfly
10/10 master, would die 527 times again to serve him

I have a confession to make: my favorite action game used to be NGB, but after recently replaying it, I've come to realize I like Sekiro much more.

>first run through struggly mightily with isshin, dont beat demon or know about owl 2
>second run finally down pappy and my orangutan friend
>immense wave of bittersweet happiness washes over me
feels good being a god gamer bros

boring game was boring

I had just finished replaying Ninja Gaiden 2 before trying this. Why are these shitty Fromsoft games so popular here?

>pseudo-pregnant
She's just caring his soul around, who the fuck came up with this
She's definitely a child
Aah, I missed you in the previous 3 to 4 threads. Or did you just not show up because the thread never discussed the Divine Child of the Rejuvenating Waters?
Ah, either way, don't stop shit posting user

t. filtered

>not an RPG
What's the fucking point of this garbage?

>She's just caring his soul around
In her abdomen, with a very obvious and intentional bump. Hence, "pseudo-pregnant."

GG, user
But for real though: now beat the game without Kuro's Charm
Makes the game more exhilarating imo

Attached: sekiro.jpg (806x1200, 273.59K)

i just beat genichiro and i have to say while the boss fights are cool everything else about this game is just mediocre. stealth is retarded, world and plot are uninteresting, graphic design is ugly, level design boring. i feel like they should have just made this a boss rush game.

When i clicked with this game it became one of the most fun times I've had with a game. I remember enjoying the shit out of the game while there was all this bitching about 'DIFFICULTY'.
Imagine being that guy who gets paid to play games and shamelessly admitted cheating the final boss

The game is a masterpiece and I'm not that much of a fan of the other From studio games.

Probably the best combat of it's kind, and it's not only mechanically perfect the animations and presentation of the combat is the best of it's kind too. Amazing graphics and other production values as well.

Yeah this is one of the things that bothered me about it, the storytelling and themes were too cryptic, I eventually got it on multiple play-troughs, but maybe the studio should try some other form of storytelling?

These fuckers take so long to kill, unless there's an optimal way of doing it.

>boring game was boring

Hesitation is defeat.

I've never played the other From games, maybe I should one day...
>storytelling and themes were too cryptic
I actually think that was done on purpose in the name of subtlety
I am lukewarm on it: don't like it, don't hate it either
If you stop to think about what happens in Sekiro, there is a shit ton of stuff that makes no sense
A few of them would be:
>What the fuck happened between the downfall of the Hirata Estate and the beginning of the game? Three years of absolute nothing?
>Why the fuck didn't the Ashina soldiers just execute Sekiro then and there when he was defenseless at the bottom of the well? They didn't even try wtf
>What kind of reality manipulating/time distorting shit is the Buddha statue capable of doing? Does it work for everyone?
>Why is Sekiro's amnesia so bullshit-y? He doesn't know about Kuro's Divinity, but he is somehow aware that Kuro cannot bleed. H O W???
These are just the few that came immediately to mind, there are much more holes
Don't get me wrong, I ADORE this game and the story, but the story is flawed

youtube.com/watch?v=tso8u4OJLuI

They take a while to kill because they're great enemies that properly show off the combat and you can't just passively parry their shit and expect to win with just that. You need to do health damage to slow their Ki regen, and the best way to do that is to knock them out of the air with shurikens which gives you a damage opening.

Hmm... seems like thread's dead
Good Night, Yas Forums

I've said it before, and I'll say it again: the beginning of Sekiro is absolutely terrible
>Boss #1, General 1: kills you in two hits as punishment for not knowing the mechanics yet, which doesn't sound like a big deal until all the NPCs start dying of dragon rot and the game neglects to tell you that this doesnt actually permanently fuck your save file like Emma says it does
>Boss #2, Shinobi Hunter: kills you in two hits for not understanding how to Mikiri yet, his boss run takes fucking forever, and he's surrounded by a giant crowd of guys that you have to kill every attempt
>Boss #3, Juzo: Surrounded by a giant crowd of guys that you have to waste time killing, plus has 99999 HP
>Boss #4, Lady Butterfly: No inherent faggotry in her fight mechanics but this is supposed to be cleared later in the game. Yeah you can beat it right away but you can't even use the reward until you kill Genichiro, so what's the point?
>Boss #5, Ogre: dude grabs with DaS2 hitboxes that drain 90% of your hp bar LMAO
>Up to this point you have only like 3 gourd uses, max, meaning that every hit = a gourd chug, meaning you can only get hit 5-6 times total before death (4 to drain your first resurrection, then 2 more to finish you off)
>Boss #6, General 2: Same as Boss #1 but now also comes surrounded by a giant fucking crowd of guys that you have to waste time killing
>Boss #7, Headless: Terror faggotry + constantly casting TWOP = cancer
I don't know what the fuck Miyazaki was thinking when he designed Ashina Outskirts and Hirata Estate, all these fights are lame as SHIT. I wasn't really having fun until after I killed Gyoubu. And even after that point you have to deal with General 3 and his squad of marksman, and the samurai of epic 1hko bullshit.

Honestly the only boss that gave me trouble was Ogre, Hirata (or atleast Juuzou and Lady Butterfly) was definitely meant to be done after beating Gyobu as you get a boost in attack from beating him

Based, i never did as well, fuck those retarded hitboxes where he hits you even when he shouldn't.

I bought it day 1 and gave up at gorilla boss

Guardian Ape?
He isn't too tough, user

I'm too old for frustrating games

Why did they become fish people?

I do bosses in the order I find them in.

reminder that the dragon is wolf in the future

just slash his penis nub until he dies

>world and plot are uninteresting, graphic design is ugly, level design boring
I'm interested to hear what your opinion is on specific games that excel at this?

Why didn't Team Ninja ever make a Kasumi game?

...From what did you base that on?
>inb4 both of them don't have an arm
You retard, that isn't why the Dragon doesn't have an arm... The Dragon has a scar on it's chest, more likely from Kuro when he cur his chest with the Mortal Blade
From this we can infer that the Dragon inherits the injuries of the current immortals: Sekiro and Kuro
>missing arm from Sekiro
>scar on chest from Kuro

Maybe because it's one of the most boring characters in doaniohng universe

She's the strong silent type, like most player characters.

Attached: sekiro butterfly.jpg (1079x1100, 375.98K)

I haven't kept up with DOA since the second game but Kasumi should be a ninja master by now with her own clan. If she's still a school girl that's stupid.
