Villager house plots are 8x4 with the house itself being the back middle 4x2. Nook's store and the museum are 7x4, and the clothing store is 5x4.

Is it true that completely ignoring a villager and never once talking to them will make them move away? Because in previous games, hitting villagers with nets actually had no impact on whether they would leave or not, contrary to popular belief, so I'm somewhat skeptical that this technique actually works.

He's kinda melding in with Derwin because they're both blue and lazy, but I prefer Stu by virtue of him not being ugly as sin.

Is the town bulletin board exclusively for players in this game? I miss starting my day with a trip to the board to check for the new message bird.

I got skye and lyman, I love both of them and they have hung out with eachother in the town square at times too!

Fish primarily spawn in waters you can't see. Scare the fish away in the river and wait about 10 seconds while keeping the river in view of the camera, then move to the mouth and look for large shadows. Most of the time a fish will have spawned there, and it's usually a sturgeon because river mouth spawns aren't that varied.

I think it needs to be on a small mystery island where the entire river can be seen at once, I've never gotten it to work at my actual island.

No. You can't even customize it and apparently the durability is not much different from iron tools so it's really just a flimsy trophy. Took way longer than I expected.
