Not him, but it's trash. ARR has maybe 2 hours of good story in ~100 hours of content. HW is mediocre at best outside of a few cool character moments. SB is a horribly dull story about a bunch of characters no one cares about. ShB has some neat ideas but unfortunately it's gated behind literally 200+ hours of bullshit slogs.

Not to mention it's an MMO with an absurdly long GCD, and it doesn't get "exciting" until you're in the late 60s and start getting all your oGCD abilities, but even then it's incredibly dull and very by the numbers.

The music is pretty rad though.

the GCD thing is offset a bit by the fact you click shit between GCDs, but in general, its still not all that fun, I think I played back when ARR rereleased and to its credit, I stuck around until just before HW launched, but I thought that was enough, I hear the game has stripped every job massively anyway, so I don't really need to go back
