Blizzard Balanceā„¢

Looks fun to me, I only play the game for casino mage.

>Battlecry: random a random of a random class (created by random)

back in my day this'd wreck meta (quit first week of Boomsday)

randomization is basically the only gimmick the game has left
strategically it's utterly braindead compared to other CCG's

Decks got too braindead with powercreep settling in. Arena is a fucking joke now and wild has been dominated by 3 decks for almost 2 years now.

idk how they managed to run out of ideas only a year into the game existing but they did and here we are

WOWIE BIG NUMBERS EPIC EPIC EPIC!!!!!!!!

Is handbuff back?

fuck rush making minion cards into damage sticks and making it seem like there's always an answer

Nothing, you have to draw a specific card and it has to die before that card is even put in your deck

You aren't able to put these cards in your deck but good bait.

No clue. i quit once i could no longer play Mill rogue.

Have no idea how they fucked it up, it's gone down and it's a game I can't even recommend anymore. Right now my top 2 games to recommend are Mtga and LoR, then Artifact was unironically pretty good they just fucked it all up, then Gwent and Shadowverse are fine, had fun with them. But Hearthstone damn did they fuck it up, and it's never gonna die because blizzdrones just can't let it go, they invested so much money on it that they'd probably kill themselves if it shut down for whatever reason

solarian's main card is on curve 2 mana +1 spell damage faggit there are literally no drawbacks

Nothing, it's the same low effort rng riddled garbage it's always been.
HS only had PROMISE (promise, not an actual good game) at the start.
If you're still playing hs you're suffering stockholm syndrome

Attached: 1575275119125.jpg (699x699, 28.8K)

too much resource generation
every deck basically has 100 cards in it now

I haven't played HS in like a year and enjoyed playing a lot of control shaman? literally only played HS to play shaman as I have 2k wins on it and 50 on other classes. How is it looking for control shamans out there? new expansion looks kinda cool

oh I'm sorry the drawback is you have to put an already well statted/costed minion in your deck and JUST GET LUCKY LMAO that's so much better retard

the only acceptable ccg is one that focuses on constant deck creation, meaning unlimited arena mode.
anything else is just netdecking and paying tons of money for pixels.

How bad did arena get? I quit about 1.5y ago and back then it was still sort of okay

I really wish I could still enjoy Hearthstone.

Never played the game, but I've seen this card and it makes me want to try it out. How good is it?

Attached: Yogg-Saron.jpg (728x960, 92.97K)

arena is okay, they change the sets more often now so it's a bit tricky to keep up with what to play around.

big fat RNG

getting good enough to go infinite in arena was the only thing that kept me going for the last few months of playing it
I don't get how but making decks in hearthstone felt way worse than in other card games

Games rarely get far enough to use 10 cost cards. And I don't think it's even usable in normal play anymore.

Yogg himself is an all purpose yolo card that saw actual tournament play. IIRC someone actually did the math and on average the board state improves for the player who played him. He's not in standard any more though; there's a spell version that does almost the same thing.

Would not recommend playing Hearthstone if you don't have a high tolerance for bullshit

Attached: how i play hearthstone.jpg (780x466, 42.99K)

I remember the game had an alarm bot card that would play a random monster what if you just use those?

used to be before he got nerfed, how he's 100% meme

Runeterra is a better game and the most f2p card game I've ever played

Stop wasting time on Hearthstone, it's too expensive

Attached: 1488830288457.jpg (1536x1536, 254.6K)

he was recently unnerfed. keep up user

>only people complaining
I like the game

strange thing to brag about, shit-eating blizzdrone

Runeterra is a clunky sack of shit

Where is the bragging, Yas Forumsdrone

objectively true

inb4 jellymad shitposters

it doesn't cast it's battlecry if it's summoned by another card

It got rebuffed again because Blizzard doesn't know anymore how to make the game fun and they're trying to roll back

>only just now implemented a patch that prevents you from drawing duplicates past two copies
They did it on purpose

any other cards they've unnerfed, admittedly it's been a while since I last played the game

what if i have all the basics, rares and epics of expansion? will it only drop legendarys?

quite a few yeah, have a look at the /vg/ thread for details

yeah wtf??? the game never had rng before now.. this is bs.............. :(
but seriously, the rng in this game is for whacky tournament highlights, rng bullshit moments for e-celebs to publish on their youtube channels to get more kids and women into hearthstone, and in general to make shitters win more games than they should and therefore keep them from being discouraged and therefore spending more time/money on the game

Attached: shredder2.png (200x276, 99.44K)

*legendaries

I like hearthstone. Why does that make people mad?

No, once you have 2 copies of every card of a rarity, you start getting duplicates of that rarity again

I think Reno hunter can fit in this card.

because you're only allowed to like magic the gathering. its not a card game unless you have to smell your opponent

people treat it like its more than just a casual card game and get mad when they get shafted by rng
there's a large middle section of angry people inbetween the turbo casuals who play on the toilet or for an hour a week and the ecelebs who stream and play the game for 14 hours a day, the people who want to be ""good"" at the game but don't want to play as much as the streamers do

This.
Being f2p on hearthstone is literally not fucking viable anymore.
>Spends months losing to better decks so you can grind quests
>finallly have a viable deck
>new expansion comes out and invalidates it
>have to grind and lose to new cards again
>new year comes
>all your grinding is now fucking useless and you have to start over

Attached: 1565499051610.jpg (1600x1200, 164.93K)

Yugioh > MTG
former has some creativity left at least

>No Gemstone
That's not even a playable card in a normal match. So it's either a PvE only card, has some arbitrary requirement to acquire it in the first place, or is tied to some special mode.

There's a high end tier of the game that's anything but casual. Any RNG arguments or complaints are shut down by xBlyze winning two Master Tours in a row.

primes have to be played as "only" pretty good minions that shuffle their retarded overpowered forms into your deck as a deathrattle

If you can't buy 30 packs with the quest gold between xpacs, and build a good enough deck with all the bonus shit they through at you at the beginning, you really shouldn't be playing this game.

Okay, I haven't actually played or cared about Shartstone in years, nor will I start anytime soon. But I will shitpost about it.
So now post the card that generates it now that I know it's available in normal modes via a secondary.

This isn't true. Several decks in Uldum transitioned to Descent of Dragons with almost entirely the same deck list. Learn to disenchant effectively.

Attached: Astromancer-Solarian.png (361x514, 98.17K)

Reminds me of shadowverse. Ever since they introduced mid-expansions and double legendaries per xpac it just was never the same for f2p.

tik tok HS players artichads are going to rise up in a few weeks

HS could shut down for a lack of activity and STILL have more players than that game

Of the important ones Dr Boom is now back to 7 mana, the other ones are meh and will only annoy people in wild

they're starting to hand out premade decks pretty soon for new players that are decently competitive. one of them is a singleton mage that has both alex and zephyrus in it

Attached: zephyrus.png (280x394, 206.67K)

Are my murlocs back?

Chinks absolutely love this shit. They love slot machine plays. It's why gacha is so popular.

shut up chinnk

>playing hearthstone past the introduction of the evergreen system

there's a couple potent ones coming soon

Attached: obw918u31oo41[1].jpg (800x400, 93.31K)

I only play mill rogue in wild

If you turn the brain off you can play the seasonal edition of rush hunter and rank at least up to 10
If you start each season with 5k shekels you're pretty much on the spot to reach legend, but you need to grind a lot

based

>tfw stopped playing after blackwing lair

Attached: 1563270380696.jpg (550x397, 20.9K)

>2 Mana 3/2 +1 Spell Damage, do nothing
Not terrible for sure, but the baseline is just barely above a Kobold Geomancer. If you draw it early, it's an okay play just for bodies, but is borderline dead in any sort of Tempo setup since it provides none.
A late draw and it might as well not exist, but that's a price all mages pay with their decks usually.
Since the 7 Mana 7/7 it holds always targets enemies, it seems fairly useful, but I'd honestly need to use it to tell and that isn't fucking happening. :^)

damm, i only enter to collect em, but i unistalled the game from my pc and i doubt i can get it on the cellphone, rip

>wish for the perfect card
What's this supposed to mean?

it wouldn't be nearly as much of a problem if the player being attacked with haste creatures had any sort of say in the matter beyond knowing your opponent's hand, reading their mind, then playing a counter during your turn.

A late draw and you're shuffling the prime into a much thinner deck.

How long has it been out? They've spent that many years making sideboard tech to deal with big threats in a game that doesn't have sideboarding. It's offensively retarded and Blizzard's normal balancing ideology of giving characters their turn and then assfuckign them after half a year doesn't help.

An RNG algorithm calculates the best possible card you could play in the situation and generates it.

From what I can see, the game isn't even about fighting real players anymore, at least that doesn't seem to be the focus. It's about some shitty RNG fuckfest called Battlegrounds.

What? I play f2p just fine. Hell, the only time I spend gold is at the start of the expansion, though I dont bother with unlimited so I vial all my rotated cards

it will analyze the board state, life totals, the amount of cards in both players hands, the amount of cards in both player's decks, and how much mana you have left and then offer you 3 cards from the standard/basic set that it thinks would improve the board state the most in your favor. it will always(mostly) find lethal for you if its possible

its pretty much the best expression of what makes a digital card game different than a paper one

But even so, it needs to die before you can use any draw means to acquire it.
And you're not gonna dump it, play something that kills it and then draw the thing then play it all in 1 turn. The Minions alone are 9 Mana in total.

i only want card games that don't have card effects. everything should be normal minions. fuck blizzard and fuck yugioh for that synchroshit. game was much better when it was whoever got summoned skullfirst

>random spells (targets enemies if possible)
Is this suppposed to be bad?
Utilizing the engine's ability co create RNG more interesting than "if you don't draw lands you lose" is the exact shit hearthstone was supposed to do from the start.

*shredders behind you*

Attached: 1558960327016.png (445x400, 499.05K)

>RNG
it's literally deterministic

It doesn't check (the number of cards in) either player's hand or deck, but the rest of what you said was correct.
