pro tip you dont play games with ur gf. maybe some coop stuff if she know how to shoot but if not you just watch her play pokemon snap and then she can watch you play something

depends. a lot of times they dont want to play or completely suck at what you like to play. My gf primarily plays jrpgs, eroge yuri vn's, rune factory, and atelier. Dont get me wrong, theres nothing wrong with any of those things inherently, but they're not two multiplayer. Shes trash at shooters, trash at platformers, and doesnt provide a challenge in racing games. I recently got her into the souls series and she enjoys them thoroughly but its a bit of a pain to try to fully co-op those games. She is actually decent at fighting games, but she only plays the anime ones and then only will play the exact same character which gets kinda boring after a while.
Island dates in AC new leaf were fun though.
tl;dr - whatever you can get them to play - dont expect them to provide a challenge though.
