Ouch

Ouch

I haven’t heard anyone say they don’t like it though?

I went too look some of those reviews to see if and why it was being review bombed and found a lot of complaints about some one island shit?

Anyone care to explain?

>Look up reviews with 0
>People with literally one review
>All of the mhave a gf/wife
>Give the game a 0/10 because they cannot have 2 islands

Yeah ouch

If people hate sharing with their gf/wife that much, why get married or be in a relationship? NPCs are so weird

The game is limited to one island and the player who creates the island is the island rep. Everyone else who wants to play the game basically gets to be an NPC on that island, being locked out of a ton of content. The online also sucks massive dick but that's something to be expected from Nintendo.

Basically they're complaining about something that's been a part of the series since the very first game.

Does the "rep" actually get any special privileges? What is this "ton of content" they are locked out of?

You don't understand his point
He's saying that they're all the same person

>What is this "ton of content" they are locked out of?
Not him but it's mostly just terraforming and nook island related so not a substantial part of the game.

What's the problem?
It's a copy paste except with grind increased tenfold. Only mental retards and Chinks would appreciate a needless grindfest game.
When even later Rune Factory games are less of a grind than your shit, you need to reconsider your development philosophy.

The very first game was one island per memory card, this one is one island per console. Stop spreading half-truths.
As far as I know, people who aren't the island rep cant invite villagers, progress the story at all or actually build major stuff like buildings. They're basically playing a lite version of New Horizons on someone elses island even though they're playing on another account.

Seething poorfags that can’t afford their own switch lmao

Damn, now the game will bomb. It won't sell over 300 000 copies, mark my words! Nintendo is finally finished

>The very first game was one island per memory card,
Yeah?
Are you trying to say you could just magic memory cards out of thin air? Next to no households had two dude.

>A 20yo game forcing you to pay $10 for a new save is the same as a game that just releaaed forcing you to pay $300 for a new save
I don't know dude. Kinda seems like they're just restricting the game to one island per console to sell more consoles.

Retarded parents buying this shit for their 6 year olds and finding out only one gets to play.

Yeah it really isn't that good

Yeah I agree, they should've pirated the game.

>GC memory cards
>$10
Also if you feel that strongly just gut your switch and replace the storage. It's literally the same principle.

>review bombing
Imagine unironically using a fake term coined by corporate industry to dismiss any criticism of blind consumerism.

Attached: dont think just consoom.webm (960x540, 2.32M)

Yeah, the game is pure garbage.

They're $10 on eBay right now and I imagine they weren't much more expensive back in the days. Anyway I don't see why people shouldn't be allowed to be outraged about this. It is pretty obvious that they're treating their costumers like this just to sell more consoles.

i read the reviews when the score was even lower than that and literally all the bad reviews were because of the island sharing thing for multiple users. didn't see one review calling the game itself bad.

I like having my wife in my town. She had a better eye for landscape and design than I do so I have funny collecting all the shit and then she makes it look good

This and 's filename sort of reminds of another recent game referred to by AC.

except metacritic had to revert the user scores for games like fire emblem and astral chain

What the absolute fuck? Every single negative review is a complaint about how the game only has 1 island and limited multi-player. This has to be some algorism shit right?

>Yeah it really isn't that good
Yet, we have had dozens of Animal Crossing threads every day and hardly any negativity in them.

You can only have 1 island per console.
On Gamecube and (debatabley) DS it was because of hardware limitations. And if you really wanted multiple towns you could just buy a second game. It was still a trash system but hey this was over a decade ago.
Now the switch on the other hand does not store game data on a card. It stores it in the switch itself, so you can't just buy another copy of New Horizons for more islands. You have to buy another $500 piece of hardware and the game again if more than one person wants to play it. The worst part is that it isn't because of hardware limitations. It's because Nintendo is putting an artificial limitation on it in the vain hope that people buy more than one switch.

I severly doubt that 6 year olds have the patience for AC

Most 6yos aren't NEETs.

>vain hope
You underrestimate the power of consoomers

Heh... leave this to me.

i haven't browsed Yas Forums in like 8 years. is snoy the new meme term for sonyfags or is it just some schizo's forced meme?

Some schizo forcing a meme. If you pay attention to the poster count, you'll realize it's just one or two guys spamming.

A little bit of both, like most things console wars.

most of the reviews complains about the fact that there is only one island per console. That is the case since the very first animal crossing I can't stand those new players who complains about something that is up since the beginning and nobody ever complains about

despite HL:A getting review bombed on MC for being vr only, it still managed 9/10 from users

PC is just better

>ringfit in god tier

what the fuck is this ?

Snoy is the new term for sonyfag. Don't listen to the snoys trying to deflect this

>That is the case since the very first animal crossing
Wrong, stop spreading lies. It was one save per game/memory card in the other games. Old games doing something similiar also absolutely isn't an excuse to limit the players options to sell more consoles.

>Yas Forums Official
Happy 14th Birthday

You could technically have multiples town in the other games but that wasnt planned by the dev since the very beginning animal crossing has been design to be a personal game not to share with anyone

At least I know not to trust metacritic anymore lmao

>User reviews matter.

Snoy became a thing once they started censoring everything. I think it came from Japanese twitter users?

>animal crossing has been design to be a personal game not to share with anyone
Why force other players to play a shitty version of AC on your island then instead of just letting them make their own island on their own account? How can anyone think they don't do this just to push costumers into buying another Switch just for one game?

Attached: 1579865027251.jpg (1080x621, 31.95K)

>sharing your switch with peers

Attached: XP7bH0R.jpg (226x223, 8.9K)

what's deal with all these deleted posts?

>meta critic
>in the year of our lord 2020
I think animal crossing is lame as fuck but seriously, meta critic is the sign of nothing, but you know that bait kun

>right now
Key words. How much do you think it was back then? On top of that AC filled up almost an entire card.

>On Gamecube and (debatabley) DS it was because of hardware limitations
False.

>How much do you think it was back then?
Not $300 I guess

Snoy is a term made up by sonyfags to push their victim complex further.

>$500 piece of hardware
are you retarded?

>Are you trying to say you could just magic memory cards out of thin air? Next to no households had two dude.
The game came with a memory card you could buy the smallest block memory cards (AC took up the entirety of one of these) for $4. So yes the one island limitation of AC on GC was purely a storage limitation and there's absolutely no excuse for that limitation on a home console with thousands of times more storage space to work with.

Janny is being an idiot again. I got warned for "flamewar" while my post wasn't even a "flamewar" post

AC only filled up the smallest type of card which were cheap and Mad Catz was also a thing making third party memory cards if you couldn't eat the Nintendo brand $7 asking price

>for $4
Not him but no. If you include special mail 59 doesn't even fit AC. And they were never $4.

What was your post.

I have to disagree with the user score on this one. I've been playing everyday for like over a week and I've been having a lot of fun. Online fucking sucks, but as a single player experience is fun and COMFY. People are review bombing the game for stupid reasons probably.

Fuck you, Yas Forums.

>NOOOOOOOOOOOOO YOU CAN'T JUST HAVE 1 ISLAND THIS MAKES NO FUCKING SENSE WTF IT'S JUST LIKE ON GAMECUBE WITH ONE MEMORY CARD YOU CAN'T DO THAT I DON'T WANT MY FAMILY TO CUT MY TREES DOWN AND PLANT TRAPS EVERYWHERE NOOOOOOOOOOO

Check out some non-IGN places then, zoomer.

Ouch indeed, Twitter friend.
