I had a ton of flowers taken from Nookmile islands, a bunch of outdoor furniture, 8 residents and used up all the fencing Nook gave to get to 3* rating. I bought a bunch of recipes with Nookmiles like the fountain for decorating the island.

What the real strat is for island fruit is to collect all the native fruit you see and save it to sell at somebody else's island.
Occasionally you'll get a whole island of another fruit but it's uncommon

Once the camp has one person move in you can set aside additional house spots. Then more villagers will appear on islands.

You're gonna have to clear out some trees eventually, too many god damn trees on the island to start with IMO.

The stone axe has as much durability as the metal axe. The axe's only purpose is to cut down trees. If you just want resources, use the stone one.
