Is Axiom Verge worth playing

Is Axiom Verge worth playing

It's okay

yessss

yeah

It's fine,

Meh

just play ESA instead

a bit of a snooze fest imo

Дa, игpyшкa нe плoхaя

It's ok

It is game.

It's definitely a weaker Metroidvania. I'd give it a 6/10.

This.

Its ok

not really, its a tedious game

It's okay. 7/10 worth playing but nothing special.

Haha I can read that.

The game has a few minor problem, sound design sometimes and the convoluted story.
But overall, this game is a masterpiece, excellent atmosphere, music, a lot of weapons, nice n3w upgrades, and a real FEEL of Metroid (and I played a lot).

Do you like metroid games?

Not really. I like metroidvanias a lot and I dropped it after a few hours

It's not often you find a list that's entirely correct.

it is boring and the mc is not a cute girl.

Yeah, perhaps we'll find one later.

It's great, OP, give it a shot. A sequel is in the works, I think. Also, fun fact...
There's NO rule 34 or lewd art of this game. Believe me, I checked everywhere.

I tried. I left out the other Castlevania's because I haven't played them yet

Let's hope it stays that way.

Axiom Verge is at least in B tier

Cyкa

I preferred it to Hollow Knight. Better length, feels more focused.

I found it to be incredibly boring. I'd rather just play a Metroid

Let's not pretend you don't wanna know what oral from those giant robot heads would feel like.

I wish the bosses were a bit harder. They just have some simple patterns and are really boring once you figure them out.

It gets too hard too quick

I really loved it, have in mind that it goes after Metroid far more than Castlevania

I might replay it before Axiom Verge 2 releases

Yeah Hollow Knight is way too long and boring when you want to do everything

Environment Station Alpha is good too.

nah, it's very mediocre

wait what? why are the new Tomb Raider games on that list? i never played the new ones

I found it to be interesting and had a creepy vibe to it, however there were some secrets that just made me go "wot" until I read about them, like the one where you had to corrupt mobs and see their corrupted forms and get a password to unlock an area.

Cool concept, but feels like it took me out of the game.

>Batman
>Star Wars
>God of War
>Tomb Raider

wtf am i looking at here

I would place Alien Isolation on B or A

I didn't make the list but they do have Metroidvania elements in their level design
I agree with the creepy atmosphere. That and the designs of architecture and enemies were the part of the game I really enjoyed. Didn't care for the rest though
They all have Metroidvania elements

im sure the game is okay
i just cant tolerate pixel graphics the game has

its really reminding me of that one game i used to play on my nokia phone decades ago

I finished it and I don't usually finish games (quit hollow knight after hornet fight). Cool atmosphere and interesting story. So it's ok at least.

Where does Sundered sit on with a chart lile this? I found it the most enjoyable metroidvania I played last year. I liked it even more than I liked Hollow Knight and did 3 playthroughs of it.

Probably meant when you got filtered by the hornet fight.

what the fuck is "axiom verge" supposed to mean

Attached: smol thonk.jpg (360x360, 29.29K)

fucking hollow kniggers, get the fuck out

I liked it, but it was way too repetitive and the boss were bullet sponges

It's alright. Hollow Knight is way better though.

I think it was the name of the theory that the main character came up with that lead to the plot happening.

>An axiom or postulate is a statement that is taken to be true, to serve as a premise or starting point for further reasoning and arguments. The word comes from the Greek axíōma (ἀξίωμα) 'that which is thought worthy or fit' or 'that which commends itself as evident.

>Verge - an extreme limit beyond which something specified will happen.

so if you have over 80IQ you can figure it out

it's a meme game that was taylor-made for reddit

How come?

My epistemology professors at university didn't explain me how you can be on the verge of a non-demonstrable postulate upon which a system relies and how the fact that you're on the verge of it counts as a theory.

How does that work?

>Hollow NEET's putting their game with Super Metroid
"No!"

Just play Super C

>fusion that low
contrarian

>Hollow Dilate above SOTN
bait

It's mediocre. There's some nice pixel art in it but most of the game just has the same tilesets with palette swaps, the map design is terrible, the upgrades you get are retarded, and it forces story on you all throughout the first half only for it to then completely disappear for the second half so that's poorly balanced. And the plot is fucking awful.
The game didn't deserve anywhere near the critical acclaim it got for being made by one guy.
