Eh, they look mediocre to me. XV raised the standard and 7R failed to match it despite being a smaller game. Noc looks better than Cloud. I think it's the skin textures and the way the engine renders the characters. SE's in house engine looks much better than Unreal 4.

How the fuck as re they going to turn Midgar into a 50 hour game? Are they going to road block all progression in the story via do X side quests and mini games? Once part 4 comes out and you finally replay the whole game, people are going to have spent 240 dollars on a game from 20 years ago. And enjoy spending it. What the hell.

I'm having a blast with the game, is everything i wanted even with the clearly not revolutionary sidequests. But those are mandatory in modern games for some reason, i think devs feel obligated to put then in games.
But i'd like a full remaster of the original too, with a new translation, why not? Something like the Crash trilogy remaster. It would sell like crazy, to us veterans and the new players the remake is bringing.
