someone post the train simulator DLC

I used to pirate games, because I was scared to ask my parents to buy them for me.
Now I pirate games to save money, but if I play a good game, I buy it.

Yes, I had it on console and didn't want to pay twice to play the same game.

I pirate because I can. I buy because I can.

Yeah,i pirate shitty anime arena fighters since im only gonna play them for 2 hours so the guy can do the thing from the show
and stick of truth since it was censored here
and roms i guess

I can't remember the last time I finished a game I pirated. It's kind of sad I need monetary investment to finish games

i pay third world prices for them while living in a first world country so i don't care enough to
used to do so maybe like 16 or so years ago?

bloodrayne 1/2
it wasn't on PC until it came to steam years later

I don't know if my computer can run certain games so I test it out first. Demos and benchmarks would be nice but what can you do.

Mass Effect 2
Because 1 was janky fun, 2 had some issues that were going to be more prevalent in 3, and also it had like $80 of DLC.
Skylines vanilla is fun enough. You had most of their DLC in Simcity 4 Deluxe edition. These days you just become a living embodiment of greed and hope people throw money at you.

>Have you ever pirated a videogame?
Yes.

>Why?
I'm poor.

>Have you ever pirated a videogame?
yes, but haven't done it for years
>Why?
i was poor then

>Have you ever pirated a videogame?
Only things on emuparadise.

>Why?
I like my computer uninfected and emuparadise is the only website to be proven safe and not full of miners or ransomware.

>Have you ever pirated a videogame?
Probably like 90% of the video games I have played over the last +20 years have been pirated.

>Why?
Why not? I don't know a single person that has ever gotten punished for pirating video games. I only buy if it's an exceptionally well-made game and I feel like the developers deserve the money, or if it's a multiplayer game that I want to play. I have probably pirated several thousands of games since the early chipped PS1 days.

It's not even a money issue either, I have plenty of money that I waste on tons of other stupid shit. I just don't see why I should pay $60 for something that I can get for free just as easy and with 0% chance of any repercussions.

Because I am a poor ugly third world shitskin whom thinks he's entitled to the products of others, free of charge. Knowing I'll never make anything out of myself, I play white man's games then shitpost about them to hurt the white man's ego.

*gasp* NO! NEVER! I would never do something so heinous! How dare you good sir! I'm a good boy :)

>Got malware for the first time in years after downloading pirate warriors 4
I feel special. I mean, it is pretty obvious when i look at it now, but still.

I just refunded it. What a shitty game.

Yes, because shit's free.

I used to buy a lot of games back in time when I played on console and when buying a PC game didn't mean to rent it for Steam.
Now I play only on PC, if there's the option to buy on GOG/straight fromt he dev I do this just to support them, if it is Steam only, I pirate it.

I can't believe sim city EA died for this dlc nickel and dime shit

sim city online did what this company tried to sell as dlc straight out of the box. It's not fucking fair bros.

I'm a poorfag and couldn't enjoy those games otherwise.
I bought most of the games I pirated and enjoyed over time tho

*blocks your path*

do you guys think that more pirates are going to be taken care of now that police is not really fighting "crime" anymore

The Sims is the only game I pirate.
I refuse to dump that much money into one game.

game?

They almost never fight actual crime to begin with.

What game?

Doubt it. Instead of doing nothing all day they now patrol and break up groups of people, at least here.

>Have you ever pirated a videogame?
yes
>Why?
because I can

>Have you ever pirated a videogame?
yeah
>Why?
it's easier than grabbing the game off my shelf

Diablo II twenty years ago.

>it's easier than grabbing the game off my shelf
dam, really makes one think...

fpbp

>Have you ever pirated a videogame?
Yes
>Why?
Because it's easy to do and easy to get away with. My potential purchase of 1 copy of a game is a drop in the bucket, and it's not like all of that money would go to the guys who created the game. If I was suddenly unable to pirate games, I would just play what I have and never try something fresh again. Newer games are mostly shit, so I would rather spend $60 on something I know would benefit me rather than gamble it on any of the more recently made games. When it comes to older games, most aren't even sold by the guys who made them anymore, just random people selling used copies. So buying old games is retarded too since no one involved with the game at all would get the money. But the most important point is that pirating is just really easy to do and easy to get away with. Why pay money when you don't need to?

>Have you ever pirated a videogame?
Yeah, I do it all the time.
>Why?
Because I am not very rich and have to spend money on more important things.

If you are so poor that you can't afford a US$60 (or whatever games cost in your region typically) game then you should be focusing on more important matters like improving financial situation desu

It's impossible, I am stuck. Better enjoy life while I can afford my rent.

>That the price of a fucking car
at least is not worse than the faggot who donate 30k to Star citizen

I have never ever payed for a game

>pirated DmC
>pirated ZTD
>pirated Hollow Knight, bought it after beating it
>pirated Wizard of Legend, bought it after several updates
That's all off the top of my head. Every game I've pirated was either terrible and not worth my money anyway, or I wanted to demo the game before supporting the devs.

haven't bought a single game in my entire life.
>why?
no international transaction possible in my shithole of a country

I have so many games, free or purchached legit, that I see no reason to pirate anything.
I don't care about "try before buy" in lieu of a lack of a demo, though I see it as a legit argument for many who got burned on bad games. I went in a different direction: I'll wait years after a game's release before I buy it.
First, to wait out both the release month hype, then add on about two years more for arguments about it to settle down and any major issues to be addressed.
Second, waiting years for it to drop down to about $10-20 with all patches and DLC included.

I almost never pay more than $20 for a computer game. In the rare instances I do, it's because I'm sure the game will be good (probably because there was a demo) and I really want it, and I have the money to spare because of frugal spending.

Paradox makes EA look like saints.

yes because wasting money is stupid

>>Have you ever pirated a videogame?
>Yes.
>>Why?
>I was poor.

I pirated a f*ckton of them

Have you ever pirated a videogame?
Many times.
Why?
Because I'm poor. That's really it. Easy to do most of the time

Yes
Because I can

Before Steam I pirated a lot. Because games were more easily available via pirate sites.
When Steam arrived I started buying the games that were good.
Until my backlog on Steam and Gog became so large that I never needed pirate sites again.

I pirated gta 4 because I wanted to play the game with the drunk camera
Got disappointed when the version I downloaded had it fixed

enjoy your denuvo and always online requirements

>make pc

>torrent games

>buy the ones you really like (ie witcher 3)

only sensible way to use a pc

>be young me
>pirate cuz poor as fuck
>shell out for homm5, god i was hyped
>drm doesn't give a fuck that my game is original, still had to crack it
fuck this industry, never bought game since then

yes, only if they have cancerous malware attached to them, like uplay, origin, securom, starforce, denuvo etc.

>Have you ever pirated a videogame?
Yes
>Why?
Because I don't want to blindly waste my money.

>Have you ever pirated a videogame?
Yes: the Xbox version of Shadow the Hedgehog.
>Why?
I mean, come on.
