Name ONE game
Empires are inherently evil, retard
LoGH thread?
Why do you say that?
the legend of heroes
>Republic is usually composed of diversified people of varying races and creeds yet they all get along despite the obvious fact they really shouldn't because it's not realistic to have someone say they're equal when they're not
>Empire is a unified power that's corrupt or commits "heinous" acts to ensure status quo and rebels hate them because they are oppressed by them even though the empire keeps everything together
Fuckin Star Wars is retarded with this logic and I'm pretty sure I always hated rebels yet I can sympathize with the empire even though their soldiers never show their faces have any discernable traits other than fodder.
why almost no aliens in empire army
>Empire good
Spotted the dirty Erebonian
Because they're fuckin niggers. Thrawn had a position of power and we never see stormtroopers take their helmets off so how dare you assume their species you bigoted piece of shit rebel sympathizer faggot.
LOGH was too based for television
One day I hope it gets a live action adaptation but I know it will never happen because it actually says good things about dictatorships (and bad too, but any good at all is too much for some people to handle)
So... Rudolf von Goldenbaum did nothing wrong?
i think it just budget cut
>being exited over dead franchise
are you that crying AIDS faggot?
The Roman Empire was objectively better than the Republic that preceded it
There's a remake of the original OVA that is happening very slowly called Die Neue These. Generally held to be inferior to the original, but decent when taken on its own.
games with
>empire good
>rebels bad
?
Werent the stormtroopers mandalorian clones? Why would they suddenly have black dudes?
I know about it but it sucks
I'm talking big budget live action space epic with good castings and all the music from the original
Its my dream that will never happen
Imperialism is inherently bad, although the people under an Empire's rule are not necessarily so.
In FE3H the church is good. The empire is bad though, you got me there.
The Empire and the FPA are both presented with a lot of nuance though, neither side is the "bad" guy
Skyrim
FTL
What’s the female protagonist equivelent of LoGH?
cum
Only in the beginning, by the time A New Hope rolls around the accelerated aging has taken the vast majority out of service, and the few left are basically like Solid Snake from MGS4. Most stormtroopers are just conscripts like Finn.
Where can I watch this?
torrent
Wherever you usually go to find anime, they should all have it. Just remember that you need the one with the yellow subtitles.
FTL.
As in a series like LoGH but with a female lead or the female lead in LoGH?
>game is about finding the secret rebel group to join and fight the empire
>rebel group is equally as corrupt as empire
>The empire and the republic are both bad
bravo japan
It isn't, it's just riskier, as as any system of control that concentrates power in the hands of few people. If those people have benevolent intentions, the system will allow them implement changes with nothing hindering them, but if their intentions are selfish and damaging, there will be nothing to stop them, and it's much more likely for humans to be selfish. The point of democracy is to dilute the power to such a level that essentially nothing can be implemented and status quo will be maintained forever, which just results in zero progress for society.
No. There is no "right". that is kind of the point of the show. Shit happens and people react to it.
Tell that to India. They literally had their asses saved from the EITC by the crown dissolving it. Or tell that to native Sub saharan africans, who didn't even have the fucking wheel when the dutch showed up. Slavery would still be rampant throughout the world without imperialism. Sure, bad shit happened but in the long run it was a mutually beneficial arrangement.
God I love LotGH
What I wouldn't give to watch it for the first time again
It's basic video game logic and power fantasy.
It's easier to have the player be part of the rag-tag group than the established power. The "empire" can have nameless mooks that the player can farm in the early game and establish the reason why the player is constantly outnumbered and has to put more effort into devising a way to win. The "rebel" aspect of things also helps you, the player, have more agency and freedom than as a member of the established power. Being a rag-tag group of freedom fighters you're free to choose whatever weapons, armor, and equipment you want as opposed to being forced to adhere to uniformity.
It's also one of these things where game designers either don't understand or turn a blind eye to. They want to empower the player by giving them some sort of rank or position, but don't understand that the higher your position, the less "action" you take part in. MGSV is a perfect example. There is no reason Big Boss should be doing half the busy work. If anything he would be better used as a leader/instructor, issuing orders and delegating responsibilities, not catching animals or taking out communications outposts. But at that point you become more of an RTS, and less of an action game. And we all know RTS is dead.
Is this good as someone who primarily hates anime? The only anime I have ever completed are green jacket Lupin and Future Boy Conan.
we will never get a true "mature" anime like this ever again. So much wisdom can be gleaned from this show
The only games I know where the empire/government are good and the rebels are bad are Skyrim and Ace Combat 2.
I haven't watched anime in years so I dont even have a regular site. This was just on my to watch list from when I did watch anime years ago. I have enough time to watch it now.
Thanks for the help.
Former
its an art
I wanna see Bittenfeld and Poplan get into an argument just to see which one throws the first punch.
One thing that i really fucking hated about the show was that there weren't MORE scenes like this. Most of the time, there would just be generic battle footage and at the end of the arc there would just be an absurd casualty count that tried to make the battle scenes you've already seen 20 times during the show have more impact. Wish they had a bigger budget.
other than being drawn as anime, it's nothing like anime.
Why yellow subtitles?
Showing the cruelty of war constantly makes one forget just how brutal it is. It's better it's not a gore fest, then scenes like that webms wouldn't hit you so hard.
I would betray my race so hard for this space elf.
>green jacket lupin
i actually think you'll like this.
>Game tries to depict a conflict as both sides being morally grey.
>Except one side keeps resorting to petty cartoon villainy, even actually tying a civilian woman to some fucking railroad tracks, while the other side never does anything questionable.
The Empire WAS bad before Reinhard took over though. Not because Goldenbaum was a Hitler expy, because they were a bunch of arrogant degenerates who would have made the Bourbons blush.
>berserk "season 2 & 3"
Why,just why god?
Couldn't they make other clones?
That too but Rudolf was an absolute fucking bastard
The only real characterization of Rudolf we get is through the eyes of biased parties. The Empire sees him as almost a christlike figure mixed with george washington and the rebels view him as an evil opressor. Shit, the only history we get to see about Rudolf is through the eyes of the rebel's history. It's not exactly fair to pass judgement with that being your only point of reference.
The last one. She gets shoehorned in. Could've been a good character if she actually had time to develop a personality and character arc through multiple seasons.
