Gimme a town code for someone who needs cherries.

Have money to spend, post Dodo codes so I can fund your open stores!

>have to play at 5am to get turnips because I never get up before 12
I'm fucking sick of this series and its bias towards people who get up early. New Leaf at least gave you an ordinance to force shops to stay open later, but now with this I'm stuck with a store that closes at fucking 10.

Getting a lot of AC done. It's been a comfy week with gf and other plague bros exploring islands and playing together.

New leaf was borderline unplayable at times when I was a wagie
>Nothing open when I have to get up for work
>Everything closed when I get home

reminder to save up a lot of bells to buy lots of turnips tomorrow!!

haha cute dog do violent thing

There's gotta be some wiggle room between waking up at 5am and noon user.

But hey, how's that 5am music? I haven't gotten to check it out since getting my town hall.

It's crazy how coronavirus has memed this game into mainstream status. I have nothing against the game or the fans themselves, but the constant mention of it from neurotic Millenial women and single losers in their late 20s and 30s has been really bizarre to watch.

Just wasted 40 bait trying to get a stringfish. Kill me.

I wish I could just buy fishing bait. It would save me so much time.

this game was destined to be big, pandemic or not, user. o think you underestimate the popularity of this series

just got game two days ago,, whats all this turnip stuff

I'm not gonna wake up at 5, I'm just gonna play at 5 since 5-6 is my current falling asleep time during quarantine.

gl
wasted over 140 in 2 days, nothing
then randomly found 2 back to back with no bait the next day

Animal Crossing has always been mainstream, you absolute twot.

BUY HIGH SELL LOW

Last thread died, I am looking for the orange crafted set. I have a set of cherry speakers and a cherry lamp for anyone interested in trading. Those who want to check the shops or hang out are also welcome. I have Mabel today.

the Yas Forums aspect of the game

If there was a way to simplify clam hunting it would be an improvement. Instead it's just patrol beaches, and occasionally check for stars. It took me about an hour to get all this.

I'm looking for a large shadow right? Like the bass?

Why not just change the times on your device to better match your schedule?

don't talk about my pibble like that

Is bamboo an island spawn? haven't found any of it yet.

Larger than the bass, but yeah I'm a different user and I struggled greatly finding one, probably used 200+ bait total. You might already know, but go to your third layer and fish in that pond that leads to the waterfall (all islands have this, right?), that's what I did.

Is turnip user around? before you reopen, or if you reopen, I left something for your in the island ;)

It's the principle of the thing. I shouldn't have to take a fucking penalty to my selling price on items because of what time I choose to play. That's horseshit.

mhm, wish they'll impliment craft x amount
the largest shadow there is

Not all of them do. I just did it on the 2nd tier under the waterfall. I might try an island next.

So like a sea bass sized shadow? I've just been jumping at big ones and all I've gotten is Cherry Salmon and Black Bass. A bulk craft would be really helpful though.

Yeah, you'll find an island with pretty much nothing but bamboo trees eventually. Dig up some trees with fruit power, plant them back on your island, and you've got a steady supply.

>oh no i cant be a filthy neet in my escapism too

fuck off retard

>I think you underestimate
I know it's popular, but it was never this ubiquitous; I'm someone who's never cared about the series and thus rarely encountered mention of it. Corona Virus has given a huge surge to Switch sales and turned Animal Crossing into a widely discussed videogame stress ball.
Zelda and Mario and Pikachu are mainstream. Animal Crossing? Nah. But maybe from now on it will be.

I NEED A WIG

What are you, some loser in his 20s playing Animal Crossing? Be angry with yourself, faggot, not me.

The last Animal Crossing outsold every Zelda until BotW.

Animal crossing has literally outsold Zelda

>unable to connect to other console
anyone knows why i sometimes get this error?

I'll pretty sure you're fine with the 2nd tier actually. I didn't catch mine there, although I believe I did foolishly let one get away once while trying there.
>bulk craft
Yeah, I agree. I'm all for the crafting system but I can not fathom why they make it so you can't craft more than one thing at once, especially with such throwaway items like fishing bait only being able to get it through crafting.

>drumsticks

Trying to catch a stringfish is fucking bullshit

Animal Crossing is more mainstream than Zelda.
Wildworld is in the top 10 most sold DS games.

6LLQH my man's. Excuse my slovenly and undeveloped island, just got it friday

It also outsold Pokemon, didn't it? Doesn't mean it has anywhere the mainstream brand recognition or merchandise sales. Again--not saying the title isn't popular. Only that it's seemed to become for a lot of people the perfect anecdote to dealing with the stress induced by the panic and, by way of this, generated way more conversation from regular people than I've ever seen before it.

whatever

What's mabel got

Literally retarded
How can it both be one of the best selling games nintendo has ever put out and also "doesn't mean it has anywhere the mainstream brand recognition"

>anecdote
>panic
Jesus fuck. Those words should be 'antidote' and 'pandemic.' Enjoy your game, anons. Stay safe. Not trying to shit on your parade, simply mentioning as an outside observer that Animal Crossing seems to be on track to gain a lot more mainstream recognition in the wake of all this.

It's also because the Switch is a popular system. Smash Ultimate got the same treatment, nobody talked much about 3DS and Wii U outside of the core nintendo fanbase but Ultimate has been incredibly popular.
While the coronavirus is a factor here, it's not the sole reason why New Horizons is selling so well.

You are underestimating it's initial popularity just as much as people are overestimating it's brand power. It's definitely contributing to the switch sales right now but it's audience is limited to people who own the console at this point since no new ones are around.

I would say New Leaf brought it a lot of recognition. After that it got spinoffs on the 3ds and WiiU, and an Amiibo line that was pushed pretty hard.

Nintendogs and WiiSports were bestsellers back then but dont have much headspace for the current generation

How do I get rid of mole crickets? They're cockblocking all my tarantulas.

Animal crossing is STILL a best seller, please stop your mental gymnastics and just learn to cope with it user, it's not healthy

don't forget a shitload of people have the phone game user

Never said it wasn't retard learn how to use inline quotes

Anyone have a southern hemisphere town open?

It's an like the stock market but what usually takes months to years for the prices to increase or decrease happens in a week. Also, what you buy must be sold within that week or it spoils and you literally threw away money.

southern hemisphere is cursed atm dude, we cannot.

>MFW I have like 20k bells

I guess I'm grinding fish tonight!
