when people come through dodo they can pick stuff off the ground but cannot use their axe or shovel. they can also trample your flowers but it's less of a big deal this time around because they grow back in a day or two.

after you play with them once you can add each other to your "best friends" list which allows them to use their shovel and axe.

There's not much danger, the only thing randos can do is shake trees, pick up any items dropped (not placed) on the ground (not in your house), and pluck flowers (but they'll grow back)

They can shake your trees, pick your weeds, pick up and drop items, catch bugs and fish, buy things from the shop, donate to your bridge/slope projects
Unless you "best friend" them which gives them shovel and axe privileges.

At worst, if they're not best friends, steal your fruit and trample your flowers. Maybe leave messages you don't care for on your bulletin board.

But that's the worst of it, which isn't all that much. Most people just have shitty towns or aren't in the Southern Hemisphere.

AC veterans I need your advice.

I'm contemplating dumping 1 million bells into turnips tomorrow and I have a few questions.

Can I leave all the turnips on the ground for the week or will they rot and attract ants?

Is this a solid idea or a good investment? My friend also has a village so I was thinking we'd both compare Turnip prices and I'd sell wherever it's highest.

Any caveats or warnings before I do this? It took me literally 8 days to get this million, I didn't dupe and don't time travel so I don't wanna lose my money.

I've already made the 6th villager from the camp move in, but do I have to wait until he actually lives in the city (next day) for islanders to spawn again?

So I finally had my first campsite visitor. Nook forced me to move him in. How does it work now going forward? I'll only get camp visitors if I talk to Nook about selling property? How do I get random villagers on islands again? It doesn't really explain how shit progresses now.

So they've simplified the blue rose crossbreeding process so that you no longer need to remember a given rose's ancestry? It was nuts in ACNL and required really careful monitoring, because you needed to crossbreed red roses that were crossbred from orange and purple roses.

There's some obvious mistakes in the guide though like it saying "Roses W+W=P" when it probably meant "Roses W+W=U (Purple)", or "R+W=P" using a blue R.
