There are lots of DIY items that have bamboo as requirements, so take some back with you to harvest as you please.

the way people do it is to count your uses and use a customization kit on them before they break and it resets them

You can also sell each fully grown plant for 1500, which is a lot compared to coconut 500 or fruit tree 300. Just use the coconuts + bamboo shoots on the island to fill your inventory

So many things wrong with how they handle items in general in this game.
>can't see what's been cataloged in a shop
>can't tell in the catalog if more colors exist for the item or not unless they too have been cataloged
>have to obtain every different color to catalog them
>can't just DIY customize a lot of them to fit crafting theme of game
>Everything that should be fast that you have to do frequently is just slow (ATM/buying/selling/museum/etc)

Did they nerf the shit out of the amount of furniture in this game? It feels like everyone has all the same shit and I'm constantly getting dupes out of balloons. The sheer repetition of furniture that I'm seeing and knowing that they removed furniture series is really doing a number on my desire to continue.
