The idea in my mind was that dude was trash talking because he had a weak-ass bargain bin rotation 3x3, mocking everyone else for putting their heart felt favorites. So I was antagonizing him to get on my level. Heart felt and rotation.

It's been a wild ride. Still hold DMC1 in high regards. DMC1,3,4 and 5 all have their pros and cons I wouldn't consider any of them to be simply superior to the previous. DMC5 just came together for me, it's my most played single player game ever, not that playtime is the be all end all but it's still notable.
