i got like a used microsoft mixed reality thing and played through with that. their is no way you would want to play this game at all without VR. it would fucking suck.

its a cool concept, but i feel like the team ran out of VR shit to do. obviously this beams with technology but after your third time using the tool to find the thing in the wall to turn you kind of are done with it. the game would be super boring and basically a walking sim when you add a keyboard and mouse.

solid VR title if you got the shit to play it but dont go out of your way to buy it to be disappointed when its key feature is stripped out

37 and I agree. First game was very immersive with the prologue and NPCs everywhere. Second game had amazing visuals and physics. Gunplay in both games is pretty piss poor, and the setting/story get old fast. Never understood why people are so desperate for a third borefest. At least Alyx is pushing boundaries for VR I guess..
