I am loving the game but I gotta admit the first week is very very slow, especially if you wanna do a lot of stuff at the start.
Personally I had other shit to do so the little amount I could do the first week was just right for me.

You can fly to someone else's island if you input their code but you can't do it until a day after playing. The app is separate but useful for typing.
